Back at the cottage

Lena's: POV
Mama and l just got through making lunch
While Stef took Francessa out tubing for the Day. I know they're gonna be hungry once they return, l made my world famous vegetable soup with grilled cheese sandwiches on the side. Dad stepped out to go get some more fire wood for the fireplace, cause we were running low
Hope and Grace were taking their afternoon nap l don't want them sleeping so long or they would be Able to sleep tonight. Stef texted me earlier to ask me if it was alright for girls to go sledding later on today. I responded back by telling her
Once the girls were up from their nap
We were planning on taking them sledding
Down at the lodge where Stef and Francessa went, after finishing up setting the table for lunch dad came back in carrying a bunch of wood. Lena l just saw Stef and Francessa coming up the road, you know those two gotta be starving. Being outdoors all day, let me get the fire started before we freeze our butts off said Stewart
I went over towards the windows and saw
White fluffy clouds in the sky. It looks like it might snow, tonight the weather man didn't mention any snow in the forecast. But we're in Montana it snows all around these parts, I wonder what's going on back in Seattle. It's not often we have an opportunity to get away as a family, 
I head back to the kitchen to start making bowls of soup in case my wife and daughter want something to eat, mama was just here
She's probably upstairs checking on Hope and Grace. They have only been down for an hour or so, that's when l heard somebody coming through the front door
Mommy where back l heard Francessa say
I place their food on the table. Hi baby did you have a nice time out with mama, Lena asks. Mommy we had so much fun you should have been there, mama was screamed going down the hill on the tube
I'm gonna go upstairs and get washed up  Francessa States, okay sweetheart your food will be here when you come down
Nana made grilled cheese sandwiches
While l prepared homemade vegetable soup Lena replied. Sounds good mommy
Francessa goes up the steps, Stef enters the cottage. Lena couldn't stop laughing
Baby she told you what happened didn't she, Francessa swore she wasn't gonna tell anybody. Stef Stated as she took off her coat and hung it in the closet walked into the dining room took a seat at the table
Babe, she probably didn't realize she blurted out loud Lena brought over the bowl of vegetable soup and plate of toasted grilled cheese. Love can you bring me over some sugar please Stef asks Lena, Lena made herself a bowl as well. She didn't want Stef to eat alone, Lena came back
With the sugar dish. Stef scoops up some sugar into her bowl, Lena added into the bowl. I was thinking we can take Hope and Grace sledding Stef tells her wife, l think they'll like that Lena replied. Francessa came down in a totally different outfit she had earlier, this time she was in a pair of Nike dark Grey sweat pants with a pink hoodie on. Francessa sat down next to Lena saying her grace picked up her sandwich and took a bite, mmmm mommy this is so good Francessa said after she got finished chewing. Well l can't take the credit but your nana made it, l prepared the soup myself with carrots, corn, green beans potatoes cozone beans and some other kinds. There's plenty left overs for a week and a half Lena told both her wife and daughter
