arriving in Montana

Lena's: POV
After driving several hours non-stop on the highway through the night. I made it to Montana around midnight, everyone was asleep at least l think they were l know my youngest ones were pretty much knocked out cold after all the playing they did earlier. I managed to stop at the gas station only one time to get a cup of coffee to wake me up, cause I was beginning to feel drowsy. Now I know how Stef felt when she said driving long distance can make you tired, l made sure to put some more fuel in the RV. Once we get to the cottage I think
I'll have a long hot shower and sleep for a couple of hours, thank God my parents decided to come along with us on the trip
I think this is the first time they actually have taken a vacation cause I remember as a little girl we would go on countless places to grandfather mountain polit mountain
Baltimore Maryland in the summer and Vancouver in the winter. We would stay at a log cabin, l kept my eyes closely on the road so I wouldn't pass the cottage and will be staying at for a whole week. Well have to head to the grocery store once we find out what everybody wants from the market
I already have our list prepared, we all agree to take turns cooking the meals.
I always make sure to include little snacks for Hope and grace to nibble on. They enjoy eating apple slices, carrot and celery sticks
We only have one rule in our household
Which is no junk food but I know Stef sneaks some cookies pretzels every now and then. She thinks l don't know where she keeps them, sometimes I let them splurge. Everyone knows what a big health nut l am, when it comes to eating healthy
I turned on the next intersection. It's supposed to take straight to the cottage
Lena took a left once she got off the highway and followed directions on the GPS navigation system. She passed by the houses, along the way Lena pulled up to a massive cabin and parked the RV in the driveway. Then removes the key from engine, Lena just sat in the driver seat
Collecting her thoughts before exiting the RV. Lena didn't want to make too much noise and wake everyone up, after using the bathroom Lena made her way back towards the front she didn't take notice her father Stewart presence coming out the bedroom, she heard somebody called her
Lena quickly turns around to see Stewart standing in the center aisle Jesus dad you scared me half to death Lena said. Sorry sweetheart are we in Montana yet Stewart asked his daughter, yes Daddy we are
Lena responds. Do you suggest we wake the others Stewart inquires, no l wanted to let them sleep. But I wanted to get our luggage inside and look at the cottage first Lena replies, well don't just stand there
Let's go check out this house your wife was so graciously rented for the week Stewart States. We got off the RV then walked up on the porch, l bend down to get the keys that was hidden underneath the flower pot.

Lena thinks to herself, l stuck the key in to unlock the top and bottom lock. I turned the knob and we walked in the house,
Dad turned on the light switch so we could see we're we were going. The place was beautiful, there was a fire place in the corner of the living room. I decided to go take a look around first before gathering our bags, l know my dad wants to go through the house with a fine tooth comb
