'I heard him talking... Nightmare, that is.'

Cross peeked in on their conversation, but he didn't hear much. He was too far away but close enough to make out certain words.

'We were still at the party. He was speaking with Error, Reaper, and another dressed in a gold color.'

Cross was quiet.

'I heard him say something which made my soul drop to my stomach.'

"I won't show respect. If anything, i want him out--"

And that was it.

'Was he talking about me? Does he want me out already?'

Cross shook his head rapidly and quickly left back to the party.

Cross stood by the buffet table talking with Geno and Her Majesty Queen Elora, the Ruler of the Narrisa Kingdom.

She was sweet and had a sense of humor.

Cross couldn't help but laugh whenever she cracked a joke.

Only now was he waiting on Nightmare. They were supposed to leave soon.

'Nightmare...'

Oh how he hoped Nightmare wouldn't plan on kicking him out.
It would certainly be the end of him.

"Cross."
A deep voice called his name, causing him to turn around.

Of course it was Nightmare, but at his side was that Golden looking skeleton.

Cross grew anxious.

"Dearest, allow me to introduce you to my brother. Dream."
Nightmare placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

The smallers' eyes widened in surprise.
"B-Brother?"

Dream nodded and lowered his head in respect.
"Hello your Grace, pleasure to finally meet you."

"Pleasures all mine, Your Majesty."
Cross offered a smile. And turned to Nightmare.
"You never told me you had a brother."

Dream chuckled.
"He doesn't mention me much does he."

Nightmare rolled his eye at the other.

Cross looked between the two. He could see some resemblance, but the two were obviously polar opposites.

He had obviously heard About Dream, though he never met him in-person until now, he heard a couple of stories of the Lord.

Well- Cross reads and learns about everyone in every kingdom and their titles.

Even their spouse's had titles
