"NO! NO! NO!!" Luz screamed in panic, thrashing her weakened legs, while she was trying to get out of bed.

It was the middle of the night, three days after the human was set free from her cast. She was still weak, her body lost muscle mass, and she was not ready to eat. Hence, Emira was still holding her under close supervision in the recovery room. Amity refused to leave her side, feeling responsible for the condition of the human, scared of losing her girlfriend once again. Despite frequent visits from Willow, constant supervision of Eda, and Lilith's support, young Blight still did not feel comfortable leaving Luz alone.

"I won't let you hurt her! No! Don't!" Luz kept on screaming, throwing the covers off her body, and lifting her hands up in an attempt to fight. Amity jumped off her chair and approached Luz taking a delicate hold of her face. The witch already knew what helped calm her girlfriend down but seeing her in panic, eyes absent, lost in her repeated trauma was heartbreaking. Every time. Especially since she knew the feeling all too well.

"Luz, it's alright. It's a dream..." Amity said softly and the hazel orbs shut open looking at the witch with panic.

"You!" The human growled "Let me... go! No, no, no..." This time Luz tried to get away from Amity and fell from the bed. She hit the floor with a loud thump resulting in a pained grunt. It broke Blight's heart but she did not blame her girlfriend. How could she?

"Do I really look like Odalia?" She wondered, feeling her heart shatter into a million pieces. Luz had no strength in her body, yet she crawled away, dragging the IV along with her. Her eyes were tearing down, staring into emptiness with panic.

"Luz, please. You need to wake up..." Amity pleaded with a breaking voice while she tried approaching the human. Luz was moving away as fast as her weak body allowed her to, throwing anything she took hold of the witch, stuck in her nightmare. Amity was at an impasse. She wanted to hug her girlfriend and calm her down but she also understood Luz has now seen her as the abuser. It was not long before finally, the ruckus brought other people into the room. Amity noticed Eda showing up in her rabbit slippers since she too was staying at the Clinic for the past few days. The older Clawthorne looked at the scene and quickly realized that whatever was happening, her daughter was for some reason scared of her girlfriend. She recalled Blight's teachings on approaching her daughter while in the frenzy of a trauma attack and went into the room to help.

"It's okay, Kiddo..." She whispered while she sat behind her daughter, taking her figure in between her legs, and hugged her tightly, preventing her hands from hurting the young witch. "You're safe now..." Eda added but Luz was not calming down. She was looking at Amity with fear, breathing rapidly, trembling. The young witch looked at Eda with tears in her eyes then back at Luz and understood what needed to be done. She got up, left the room, and sat down on the floor just outside the recovery room, listening in. "Shh, shh, shh... you're safe. No one can hurt you." She heard Eda's calming voice. It worked for Amity as well but the image of Luz's scared expression made her cry.

"Odalia's tortures were nothing compared to this..."

"She's... she..." Luz tried to talk but Eda was not allowing her to fall into that ratworm hole.

"Kiddo, Odalia's in Conformatorium. You're safe. Amity's here..." Her mother spoke calmly, rocking her delicately.

"Amity?" Luz sounded surprised. "I miss her so much..." She said and started crying uncontrollably, choking on her gasps "I didn't... I didn't... mean to kill her!!" Luz cried out and Amity placed hands on her mouth to cover a wail when she started crying as well. "She... she... I couldn't stop..."

"Luz..." Eda cooed. "You didn't kill anyone. Amity's safe. She's by your side all the time..." Clawthorne kept on repeating but Luz was just crying more and more. Eda stayed with Luz, hugging her tightly, soothing her back, and rocking slightly, until the human cried herself to unconsciousness. Once Eda was sure Luz was asleep, she brought her daughter back to the bed and tucked her in. She looked down at her daughter's sleeping figure and despair pierced her heart. Seeing a usually strong and optimistic human hurt her motherly heart. Once Eda was about to go back to sleep she noticed Amity, curled in a fetal position, sleeping on the floor just outside the room. She kneeled to pick up the young Blight and noticed that she too had been crying her soul out.
