"It's okay, your dad might not be ready to let go now but I'm sure he'll keep an eye on her and one day the truth will come to light" Aliyu said to his crying wife who was now in his arms

Maryam and Aliyu decided on taking the risk to tell her father about what Fatima did  and it didn't turn out so well.

It's like the man was brainwashed, he kept saying they must be talking about someone else and refused to believe Fatima would do something like that.

The couples had no evidence to present which made Alhaji Shehu think they were just putting blames on Fatima to avoid him getting married to her. Now his convinced Maryam and Aliyu are against his marriage to her, something he never wanted.

"I know i said she'll be out of our marriage but I can't bear to see her getting married to my dad after what she's done to us" Maryam said in her crying voice

"I know baby, I understand but your father is just deeply in love and trust her a lot, if we cannot prove she did those things to us then it's difficult to convince someone she really did" Aliyu said patting her back

"But we didn't know he was suddenly going to get married and she was going to be the wife, so why should we keep evidence" Maryam said as she broke the hug to look at her husband

"You know we do have one evidence and that's my father's wife, she won't help us so she's not even an option, I don't know what Fatima intentions are but we need to be on alert from now on, if you see her anywhere around us or this family, make sure to record the conversation" he said caressing her face as she nodded

"Your dad said he'll be getting married by the month end so there's still time to expose Fatima to him, we just have to be prepared and God will do the rest" he said again as she nodded before hugging him

"Thank you" she said

"Thank you for everything, didn't know life we'll come to a point when our fathers have to remarry and we'll face all this issues" she said again as he hugged her tighter

"Shhhh, we'll help them through it, we have to and we will, In Sha Allah" he said

"In Sha Allah" Maryam said as she broke the hug to wipe her tears which Aliyu helped her out with

"Now smile for me, I don't want to see you in pain any longer" he said caressing her chin as she let out a warm smile making him smile

"You're beautiful" he said

"I love you" she said making him smile even more

"I love you too" he responded before planting a kiss on her lips.

It's been a week now since the whole incident with her dad and everytime she gets the chance to speak to him she never fails to try to make him understand that Fatima isn't the woman he thinks she is but as usual her father defends to woman and has now warned her not to ever say anything against Fatima.

It was as if he was brainwashed, how could he not want to at least find out if what she was saying was truth, Aliyu tried speaking to him as well but it seems like Fatima had the upper hand in the situation, what was she telling or showing him that's making him that ignorant.

It's another day for Alhaji Shehu, he planned a dinner date with his beloved, Fatima to speak to her about the wedding and how she wants things to be.
