"Why did you pick it up?" I asked Lyla trying to stay calm.
She told me about Aiza calling back while I was in the bathroom.
"I'm sorry, I thought it was a customer" she said
"We have a landline for the business why would they be calling my number?" I said fustratedly
"I gave your number to a customer yesterday, she said she wanted to speak to you directly it was important, so when I saw the number unsaved I thought it was her" she responded as I just face palm
"It's okay, what did she say?" I asked
"She just wanted to speak to you, but you weren't present so I told her to call some other time" she said
"Did you mention anything about me being pregnant?" I asked
"No I didn't, I didn't have any intention to either" She responded
"Thank goodness" I exclaimed
"I'm sorry" she said as I released a sigh
"It's okay, get back to work" I said as she nodded before leaving
I have no idea on what to do now, my stomach hurts a lot and I contacted Iqra but she said you to give it some time before testing but that's not what bothers me.
I tried calling my mums again but both their phone are still switched off and I've never in my life been more worried and confused
At this point I think I should just call my sister Rukkaya or my dad.
I got out the phone again and searched through to find the number which I saw almost immediately.

The phone rang for a while and after that the call was declined
How could I forget Rukkaya don't pick unknown numbers especially when it's a foreign number
I decided to send her a text to let her know I'm the one so she could pick.
After that I called back 3 minutes later and luckily she picked it up
"Assalamualaikum Rukkaya" I said
"Walaikum Salam, Maryam are you okay, where are you?" She said immediately, I could feel the worriedness in her tone
"Rukkaya, I'm fine please calm down" I said
"What do you mean calm down, where have you been, where did you go?, Do you have any idea on all that have happened" she said which I felt had hearing
"Rukkaya please be calm, I'm sorry for just leaving the way I did, I had my reasons and now I need someone pl..." I couldn't finish my statement as she interrupted me
"What happened to you?, What's wrong, what help do you need?" She asked worriedly
"I need to talk to mum, I'm pregnant" I said
"Pregnant?" She asked
"Yes, I'm 4 months pregnant Rukkaya, I never expected this pregnancy it came as a surprise to me" I said
"You left while being pregnant?" She asked
"No I had no idea I was pregnant till after a month" I told her
