Laura's POV
Hey I'm Laura Marano and I live in New York City, New York... well the outskirts of the city that is. I live with my mom Ellen, my dad Damiano and my older sister Vanessa. I used to have a friend that lived up the road from us, his name was Ross Lynch and he had 4 other siblings. He had to move to California when we were 8 and now I'm 16. I haven't seen him in 8 years and I still miss him... he was the best friend that I've ever had. Anyway I'm into my 4th month of Sophmore year and it's not too bad I have two friends named Lilly and Sean there amazing friends but Ross was the best.
Ross' POV
Hey hey I'm Ross Lynch and I live in Los Angeles, California. I live with my mom Stormie, my dad Mark, my sister Rydel and my 3 brothers Riker, Rocky and Ryland. I used to live in New York and had the most amazing best friend that I've ever had Laura Marano... she was the best but I haven't seen her for like 8 years because we had to move out here because Riker wanted to live his dream and now he did... lucky him
Stormie: KIDS CAN YOU COME DOWN STAIRS PLEASE I HAVE SOMETHING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT
I quickly walk out of my room and down to the living room and plop on the couch next to everyone
Mark: alright kids we have some news
Stormie: we're moving back to New York
My face brightens up and the news... I finally get to see Laura again after 8 years, I'm so excited
Ross: yes we finally get to see the Marano's again
Rydel: OMG I get to see Laura and Vanessa again... I call dibs on hanging out with them first
Ross: no I get to hang out with Laura first I haven't seen her in 8 years I deserve to spend at least a week with her
Rydel: awe look at him he's lovestruck
Ross: no I'm not... leave me alone
Rydel: whatever
Stormie: just start packing we leave tomorrow afternoon
I run straight into my room and start packing everything I own into suitcases and backpacks. I'm so happy that I get to see Laur again she's probably more beautiful than ever

[The next day]
Laura's POV
I was walking home from school when I saw a familiar looking blonde walking out of the house that the Lynches used to own.... once he turned around so I could see him more, clearly I could tell that it was Ross Lynch. I ran over to him and tapped on his shoulder, he turned around and his face lit up like a Christmas tree
Laura: Ross!!!
Ross: Laura!!! *hugs her*
Laura: *hugs back* it's so good to see you again Ross
Ross: you too Laur *pulls away* so how are you
Laura: I'm great what about you
Ross: I'm amazing now... you look absolutely gorgeous
Laura: well you don't look too bad yourself Mr. Lynch *giggles*
Ross: *chuckles*
Laura: well I should probably get home... I'll tell my parents that your back and hope to get together sometime
Ross: okay... hey umm you wanna hang out this weekend
Laura: sure why not
Ross: awesome
I start walking back to my house just as I was before I saw Ross. When I got home I put my key into the door lock and walked into the house
Laura: I'm home!!!
