I sat outside on the steps and waited for Rachel to come back, but Kayla was playing with Rose in the field. "So..... Rose.......?" I looked up at Rachel. "Don't give me that look." I said. She laughed. "As smooth as high school. I'm just- I'm happy you are happy." Kayla ran around as Rose chased her. "She's a natural mom.... good choice." I scoffed and looked at her. "How's Andrew?" "Getting on my nerves..." I laughed and looked at my family. "It's insanity.... months ago I was merely there to save her, now we're together and raising a kid." I said laughing. "And let me guess, you made the first move?" I rolled my eyes. "You remember what you said to me, hours before you were on your first date with Jayla.... you were so nervous...... you couldn't stop pacing......" I laughed. "All I'm telling is, if you truly love Rose..... why waste your time?" I nodded and she walked off.... I walked over to Kayla who was in Rose's arms. "Daddy, look what mommy got me." She said holding a rose. "Like mommy's name, Rose." "Yeah honey." I said. "Is everything okay?" I nodded and looked around. "Let's head home." I said grabbing Rose's hand.
