I was sitting in my room. Dad was yelling on the phone again. another drug deal gone bad. I decided I was gonna go to Ty's house, he knew about what happened with my dad and I could always go to his house.

I opened the window and climbed out. i started to walk to Ty's house. i was on my way when my dad texted me.

" Where your going bitch I see you walking''

I just ignored it and gave him the finger as I walked off knowing he could see me from the window

I was walking up the street for about 10 minutes when i hear music playing. My mood became brightened and I started to pick up the pace.

As I came closer I saw the garage door was open in Ty's house.

Ty spotted me and set down his guitar before running over to give me a big hug

''Hey hey, it's okay, is he bad again?'' he said, wiping the tears from my face.

I nodded and his embrace tightened.

The sun was nearly gone so we packed up all the instruments and Ryan - Our Drummer - left.

we sat in Ty's room where he had an extra matrise always set up ready for me to come over. I came over often, at least every 2nd night. His dad would always work late, his mum would sometimes work late but neither of them minded me staying over

They actually preferred it. Ty's dad and my dad use to best friends but when my dad started being really abusive and became a drug addict Ty's dad dropped him because he wanted his family to be safe

They liked it when I came over, they saw me as the daughter they never had. They liked to know if was safe.

It was the weekend so there was no school tomorrow, meaning I didn't have to wake up early.

Me and Ty watched a movie together on his laptop.

"Hey" I said while I rested my head on his shoulder

"I heard something new in the garage earlier, what the song?" Ty was always coming up with music

"Oh, do you want me to show you?" I nodded as he switched tabs in his laptop and turned up the volume

He played a song that sounded like it was still in the making but it sounded good whatever it was

"Hold on, those are the lyrics we wrote the Other day" I said in realisation and shock that he had managed to put Music to the mess of words

He just smiled as he turned up The volume

He started to Sing the lyrics to me and I joined him

" that's all I've done so far" he said as the paused the music

"It's exactly like we wanted Ty, your so talented I can't believe this" I said in shock he was so good with music

" maybe we will release a first album by the end of this year" I said with a giggle

We had a couple other songs that were working on but this was the best of them all
