Nillia pov:

I pulled up in front of the school and got out of my truck, only to be met with Bella sprinting towards me. "Edward" Was the first thing she attempted to come out with. My eyes observed the school parking lot, confused. "Edward?"

"Not here" I shifted my glance back to her and furrowed my eyebrows. "He talked to me, yesterday in bio" My mouth formed an o-shape as I was both confused and surprised that he actually spoke to her.

"Alice talked to me too yesterday" I mentioned, having her raise her own eyebrow in return. "Alice?" I completely forgot to even bring up the issue, that I sort of happen to have developed a tiny crush on the vampire.

"Isn't she with Jasper?" Bella questioned, scanning my now embarrassed face. "Yes, that's why I mainly ignored her" The brunette shrugged. "But do fill me in on about you and Edward" I successfully tried to change the topic we were getting to.

"He's weird" She stated the reality we were all already aware of. "Asked me about the weather" I let out a laugh. "Really? That's the only thing he could come up with?" Bella hummed, "Yup"

I rolled my eyes and linked arms with her like I always do. "We have english now if I read that right?" I asked, leading me and my friend inside. "Yeah" She rolled her eyes at the thought of our first english lesson.

"Pray the Cullens don't cross our ways" I mumbled to her side, receiving a heavy nod from her.

We got through our first lesson, despite that we were already told to study for a test we'll write next week. So now Bella and I were walking to the cafeteria to meet our friends at our usual table

"Heyy" Jessica beamed a grin at us and I couldn't help but roll my eyes in annoyance. It's not that I don't like her, she's just overly dramatic.

"Hey" Bella muttered under her breath while sitting down. "How are you?" Angela asked us with her all-time big smile. Though she is one of the people that I do like, I didn't bother to pay them attention, but instead the Cullen girl that was staring at me.

"Nillia?" Jess snipped her fingers in front of my face and I shot my eyes at her. "You okay?" She started smirking at my flustered self for getting caught by staring at my crush.

"What, yeah" I shrugged it off, looking down at my hands. "Saw your crush?" Angela teased. "What no" I huffed, noticeably lying. "Right, you probably have a boyfriend anyway with your looks" She mumbled to herself.

"No I don't have a boyfriend either, I don't even like guys" I admitted confidently, knowing Alice heard every single word of it. "Oh, sorry, we didn't knew that" Jessica uttered in embarrassment. "It's fine" I gave her a small smile before turning my head to Alice, who was glaring at me with a bright smile formed on her lips.

-

I walked to my final class of the day, math class again. Oh how I would do anything to not need to see the smile that drew me to her so much.

"Hi" Looking to my right, I noticed that the girl had slipped past all the people and next to me. I groaned at seeing the grin she shot me. She was beautiful.

"What do you want?" I spoke bluntly, turning my head forward again. "Wow, couldn't just say it back?" She snapped teasingly.

"Please leave me alone, I have no interest in talking to you" I began walking faster but had to stay in human speed, so as expected, she kept up. "I don't believe you, I mean in the cafeteria you seem pretty interested in staring at me the whole time" She noted. In the corner of my eye I saw the smirk she had while waiting for my response.

"I only looked at you to see when your dumbass is looking away from me" I spat. "You know, your presence is kind of really annoying to me" I added. It broke my dead heart to be so mean to her, but why won't she just leave me alone.

Instead of doing that, she chuckled sweetly, "I get that a lot" I glanced at her pretty face one last time, before turning away from her.

If this is what it takes to escape her beautiful giggles, then so be it.

-

I rushed out of the classroom as soon as the bell rang, not wanting to get into another association with the girl for today. "Nillia? Oh there you are" Bella said as I walked her way. "Yeah, did you look for me?"

"Yes, wanna study for the test together, my place? You can just drive behind me" She suggested. "Yeah of course" I smiled at her and the two of us got into our cars.

It was only about a ten minute drive when we arrived at her house. We parked our trucks and met at the front door.

"Charlie can be a little.. awkward, but he doesn't mean it" She warned before she turned the doorknob. I always found it a little weird that she addressed her dad by his first name, but it's Bella, she's weird.

We walked in and got greeted just like Bella said, very awkwardly. "Hello" Charlie stared at me, but it didn't creep me out because Bella does that very often too. "Hi" I smiled at him before following the brunette up to her room.

"We're not really gonna study right?" I laughed out as she sat on her bed. "Never. Now what did you say earlier, Alice talked to you?" I chuckled, sitting down next to her.

"And she even did it again, but like I said I'm gonna ignore her" Bella looked at me, eyebrow raised. "I don't wanna fall harder" I whispered and her eyes widened. "You like her" She smirked.

"Pshht, she has Jasper, and I think they really do look great together" Her brown eyes softened. "But you wish it was you" I could feel my heart ache at her response. "Yes" I spoke, barely above a whisper.

If I could cry, I would now.

"But you? And Edward?" She bit her lip and stroke a strand of her hair behind her ear "I guess you could say, that I find him kinda cute" I giggled, loving the experience of talking about crushes again. "Kinda? Girl have you seen yourself?" She laughed and hit me with a pillow.

"I'm really glad I have you, you know? Moving was not easy for me, but I feel like I'm home with you" She admitted quietly and my eyes lit up. "I think that's the cutest thing you have ever said" She laughed, "Probably"

And I was too, more than happy to have her. She made me feel like I don't have to be alone anymore, but also that should be over soon.
