Coffee date

I go to my dad's room and tell him about all that's been going on. I tell him that's it's nothing much and i really want to go for the date.

Surprisingly he says yes and i thank him profusely.

I go back to my room and find something to wear for tomorrow.

I pick a flare skirt with a cute top and nice shoes to wear with a jacket.

I get to the restaurant and see rico in a hoodie. He's probably trying to conceal his identity.

I wave i go over to where he's sitting.

Me: Hi Rico.

Rico: Hi Debby.

Me: Thanks for inviting me for breakfast lol.

Rico: No problem so let's talk about ourselves i guess.
You first.

Me: umm My name is Deborah, I'm Nigerian here for vacation you know that bit. I'm 17 born on August 23rd. I'm currently studying Law.

Rico: oh so you're really smart.

Me: Lol

Rico: Well I'm Rico, I'm 18 born on 21st of November. I'm british. I'm a footballer( he laughs a bit).

Me: oh really you're a footballer i had no idea i laugh as he says.

Rico laughs

After 1 hour we've talked and laughed with each other for so long.

Rico: wow that was fun. I have to go now but it was really nice getting to know you.

Me: Me too i hope we see again.

I smile as he walks and stare off into oblivion after like 5 minutes i realise I'm still smiling.

What is he doing to me. I had a crush on him before but he's such a sweet soul and he's incredibly funny. He had  training so he had to leave but i wish he never did.

I get home and can't stop thinking about him. I think I'm hooked. I'm only staying in uk for a few weeks so it'll be pretty bad if i should fall in love with him.

I'm already thinking about love omdsss.
