TO BE HER BURNING PASSION [Freenbecky]

Chapter 4

Becky's POV

At around 7:30pm I was completely dressed in
my long black silky dress and my hair packed into bum style with a strap of hair cascading down the side of my face. I was busy pacing up and down.

Telling you that I was not nervous at all would
be a complete lie, seeing the state I am in right
at that moment would be a complete wonder. I
exhaled sharply. Just as the clock ticked 8pm I
heard a knock on the door.

I quickly calmed down my nerves and went
straight to get the door, the moment I opened it I could see the black glittering limo parked with Miss Freen leaning on it. SHe stood up right, walked towards me and offered me her arm to which I took before muttering "Hi, she gave me a sweet smile and ushered me into the car.

We drove all the way to the restaurant in silence.I could sense that she was just as nervous as I am so I relaxed a bit seeing that I  wasn't the only one nervous enough to screw things up.

I didn't even noticed that she had stopped the car until I  saw her open the door for me like the gentle women  she had appeared to be. I took hold of her hand as I got out of the car. we walked side by side into the restaurant of Serene hotel which is an inspirational blend of a 5-star Polish.

And by the look how we got in, One would think that we were married couples. we went straight to the table where he had already booked which was around a place close to the window with the most beautiful
view. I happened to like it so much that I offered her a smile.

The waitress walked towards us and gave us the
menu but I told her I'd like to have whatever it
is she would want to have, she nodded and ordered stake with red wine then gave her back the menu.

I kept looking at him, I couldn't take my eye
off of her, she was looking extremely handsome
Whatever next I was thinking Was
short when I heard hee cleared her throat, I
look up at her and smiled sheepishly then lowered my eyes. She had caught me staring at hee and I was embarassed but I sucked it in.

Some minutes later the waitress came back with our order and we ate in complete silence.

"Will you go out with me?" she blunted out.
my eyes widened as I quietly looked at her,.

"WHAT ?"I  inquired hoping that I didn't hear
what she had just said properly.

"Will you go out with me?" She asked again. I stopped dead in my seat trying to think if all the scenario to why she would even want to ask me out, she noticed my hesitation but continued.

"Look Becky, I like you OK? I really do like you and I understand that this is going way to fast but I just can't help it., I know you are my secretary and all but my heart seems to have a mind of it's own and I just want to make a difference with you. Would you do me the courtesy of going out with me? " she concluded
looking hopefully at me. .

I was sure that my face had gone so white that
one could easily mistake me for a corpse. I really
don't like being in such situations, relationships
are neer in any of my to do list, well at least
not now, with my life the way it is I had so
many things to do and catch up with, going out
with someone is not a wise thing for me to do.
especially not with my BOSS..

I cleaned off my hands with the provided piece of hanky and began " I am really sorry Miss Freen  but..it's Freen" she cut me short.

"What?" I asked. "it's Freen for you,so call
me Freen" she replied.

"OK am really sorry but I can't do this right now,the relationship stuffs ain't just for me. I need to build up my life first and there's a lot of things I'd wish to do"I  explained and by the end of my explanation she had gone pale.
