Gail was about to get aggressive when Jeremy stepped in and grabbed her arm.
He could see the fear in this woman's eyes.
"Wait. Wait" he said.
"Clyde..." Gail grunted.
"Let me try something" said Jeremy.
"What are you gonna do? Sing a song and see if you sneeze her name?" said Gail.
"Just let me try" said Jeremy.
Gail sighed. "Fine."
Jeremy sat next to the woman who fearfully turned her head away.
"Miss, it's alright. The police mean well. We're only trying to ensure a better future for society. And by answering us, you'll be helping" he said.
The lady let her gaze move towards the pleading man as he sang to her.

"Clyde, that is not how the police does things" said Gail.
"But it's working" said Jeremy.
Gail looked to see that the prisoner was slowly turning her head to look at Jeremy.
"Oh..." she whispered.
"Just follow my lead" Jeremy whispered back.
Gail, too tense to speak, just nodded as Jeremy continued singing.

The prisoner was now officially looking at them.
"My name is Alice Curtis" she said.
As Gail's jaw dropped open, Jeremy continued talking.
"Why were you brought here?" he said.
"My twin sister Azalea is a criminal. I caught her getting away with a shooting when she tackled me and scarred me with her nails" Alice explained.
"With her bare hands?" said Jeremy.
"Azalea sharpens her nails with diamonds she once stole. The only thing was the officer thought I was her and took me after she got away" said Alice.
"Do you know who your sister was shooting?" said Jeremy.
"No sir, I don't. But I do know she's the one you wanna arrest" said Alice.
Jeremy rubbed the woman's shoulder and said, "Thank you, madame. You've proven your innocence, but I feel you'd best stay in the station to ensure your safety."
Alice dried her eyes and nodded. "Yes. Thank you."
"I'll have Officer Williams see to take care of that scar" said Jeremy.
Alice nodded and headed to the office.
"How did you do that?" said Gail to Jeremy.
"I... I dunno" Jeremy stuttered.
