Meeting

"Hi Nanami" I greeted excitedly. Ever since the incident, I noticed Nanami is actually my coworker. I really never talked to anyone here so I never bothered to learn their names to be completely honest. The blond replied with a simple nod before going back to his work.

After work, I followed Nanami around because to be completely honest I was bored and I needed someone to bother. "Nanami, have you ever reached a point where you don't know what to do with your life? Have you ever felt like you're only existing and not living?" I question.

"Yes, is that how you feel?" he questions and I nod. "I know this is random but I feel like there's more to life than working a 9-5 everyday" I mention with a sigh. "That's true," he agrees. "I just want to know the meaning of life, to understand why I was born?" I state.

I don't know why I was even telling him this, I'd tell someone like Shoko or Utahime not him. Heck, I barely even know him too but why does he seem so familiar to me?

"Then let's figure it out together, we're in a similar situation so why not find the solution together?" he questions. The words made me smile, he never talks (that's what Gojo told me) glad to hear him speak. "Sure" I responded with a smile.

"Nanami! Oh Charlotte's here too" Gojo exclaimed as he barged in. "What do you want?" I question, hitting the back of his head. "Ow, I'm here to see Nanami and give you a proposal" he mentions. "What?" I sigh, 'if it's any nonsense I'll kill him'.

"Listen, why don't you become a full time jujutsu sorcerer, it pays really well and I'll put in a good word for you" he suggests. "I'm sorry but I'm not the 'saving the world by killing curses' type of person. Plus I'm no survivor, I'm a mere human on earth for God knows what" I decline.

"Well that's too bad because I already told them you're in" he mentions. "Gojo Satoru" I called before he tried to run away,I tried to grab his collar but his infinity was on. "That rat," I said while chasing him. "I'm going to kill you" I say angrily while aiming two knives in his direction.

"Okay, okay, Lottie relax" Shoko states as she lightly holds my shoulder. "No,I don't want to and I don't want to be a sorcerer" I mentioned. "Look at the bright side, you get to hang out with all of us again," Gojo said with a grin.

"That's exactly what I don't want, I don't want to see everyone again. I don't want to see him again, he betrayed me" I state with tears welling up in my eyes. Gojo's face darkened when I brought him up, "What exactly happened between the two of you?" Shoko politely questions.

"That's a story I can only tell when I'm drunk" I state sheepishly. Geto Suguru, the man that betrayed Gojo for his own ideals, the same one that broke my heart.

We weren't lovers, we were far from that. We were friends, best friends in fact, all four of us. I was close to him and he just left me. I don't why I can't remember how he hurt me but I just know he did, I know that sounds weird but I know deep down he hurt me, but why can't I remember?

Coming to think of it, I don't remember being at Jujutsu High either. I barely remember anything to do with Jujutsu, that must be why I'm a grade 3. I only remember going out with friends and some training, that's all. Heck, I don't even remember who the first years were.

"To be honest, I did suggest the idea of bringing you back to the higher ups and they begged me to. One fact I know is that you're not showing your potential, you're obviously a grade 1 or even a special grade. Charlotte, please come back, we miss you and we need you" Gojo explains.

"Wait a minute, do I even have a say in the matter?" I question. "Well no, the higher-ups need you back, after I suggested the idea they have sort of begged me to bring you back" he mentions sheepishly. "And you agreed to do it because you found it funny, typical Satoru" I scoffed.

"You guys want me that bad?" I question, in response both Gojo and Shoko nod, Nanami had no idea what was going on but simply went along with it. "I'll think about it" I mentioned, they were about to celebrate but I stopped them. "it's not a yes" I emphasize, "It's better than a complete no" they state.

"Also, do any of you remember what happened during my time at Jujutsu High? I don't know why but I can't remember anything" I explained. The two looked at each other like there was some kind of secret between them. "Are you sure, you'd like to know?" Gojo questions in a serious tone. He's being serious? That's a first, it's probably best I don't find out. "You know what it's fine, I'll find out when the time is right or something" I responded.

"Anyways, Nanami! Wanna get sweets?" I suggest excitedly. He stayed silent with Gojo giving him an encouraging look. "Sure I guess" he replies, I don't know why I actually felt a little bit happy to go out with him.

We headed to a bakery and when we arrived I could've sworn his eyes sparkled a bit. Just a little sparkle of thrill or maybe excitement?

Nanami and I walked into the bakery, my nose was filled with the scent of sugar and freshly baked foods. One of my favourite scents, Nanami, went over to order, soon coming back with a slice of a plain vanilla cake, red velvet cake and chocolate cake.

"I thought you don't like sweets" I mentioned. "It's not like I hate them either, it's a once in a while thing", he explained. I nod, slowly examining his facial features. He wasn't wearing those weird glasses, when I looked at him it made me realise how beautiful his eyes were.

They were brown in colour and held a sort of coldness to them. He glanced at me and I quickly looked away. Shit, he caught me looking, "Sorry for staring too long, it's just your eyes, they are really pretty" I stated nervously. Nanami was taken aback by the compliment, "Thank you, you're really beautiful as well" he mentions.

I gave him a closed eye smile and he smiled a little in response, He smiled?? He can do that? What the hell did Gojo tell me? In fact I'll give him the beating he definitely deserves.
