Raquelle looked up at the sound of her door opening. "Hey can I borrow— wait why are you packing?" Monse asked.

"I'm doing to the DR with my mom and brothers." She explained, trying to decided between two different swimsuits.

"Oh, I thought you were leaving." Monse chuckled and held a hand on her chest.

"I still might. Not sure yet." She shrugged before throwing both swimsuits in the bag.

Monse's eyes went wide. "What? Why?"

Raquelle began to fold up the outfits she picked out. She'd be staying for about five days.

"I'm homesick and I really miss my mom." She explained. "I don't really like it here. Anyways, I asked my mom if I could come back. She said after the trip."

"You don't like it here because you're not living in your two story luxury house? My god, why are you so superficial?" Monse said.

Raquelle just continued folding. "That's not why, I just miss my mom." She knew Monse was only speaking out of anger.

"So you're just gonna walk out of my life like my mom did after you told me—"

She put down the shirt she was folding. "Don't do that. You know I never wanted to come here in the first place. Don't try to put your mommy issues off on me." Raquelle spoke quickly, not tripping over a single word.

Monse just stormed out. Raquelle rubbed her temples. That was the second person she made mad within the last 24 hours.

Carlos had her blocked. She figured that out when she tried to call him late last night and apologize.

So, being the petty person she is, Raquelle blocked him on imessage, instagram, tiktok, and twitter.

The jingle of Dior's name tag on his collar made his presence known to Raquelle. He ran through the door and came up to her with one of his toys.

"Hold on, let me finish packing." She told him. Dior dropped the toy and picked up one of her socks instead before bolting out of the door.

She quickly got up and ran after him. "You little shit!" She yelled as she chased him around the house.

Monty, who was relaxing on the couch, watched in amusement.

Raquelle finally caught up with the dog, picking him up. "Spit it out." She told
him, holding her hand out.

He gave her a sad look. "Now." She added in a firm tone. He reluctantly opened his mouth and let the sock fall onto her hand.
