Introduction

The Dragonne (/dră-goʊn/) Family were among the most feared families in the wizarding world. A family composed of pureblooded witches and wizards, with magic greatly appreciated—another word for feared—by the rest. As well as their unique ability to communicate with dragons through their own language, Dragonstongue (which is also used for their house words: Nor vanya guine dragonne. None truer than blood.) It was rumored that the reason why the family and their dragons have such an unconditional bond was because they share the same blood. The first known member of the Dragonne Bloodline was known to be an outcast, even to her own family, desperate to leave a mark in the wizarding world, thus resorting to the "comforts"—loosely termed—of Dark Magic (see The First Dragon Section).
