Face to Face

The wait was killing Sasuke the whole year and the fact that they really forgot the bride made his blood boil, like who forgets the bride on a wedding! He'd already waited enough for his bride but they had the nerve to make him wait longer then that...

Sasuke's eyes were set in the entrance of the hall, waiting for her to be finally here... And that's when he got the glimpse of her. As she slowed walked down the aisle. He stood up from his place and waited for her to come to him. Her eyes seemed to be glued on the floor as the blush adorned her cheeks. He wanted her to look at him only...

And it was finally happening now, his wait was over. Seeing the girl infront of him, felt like the wait was worth all of it as after the year, she looked more beautiful as his eyes hadn't gotten to see her in person, Face to Face...

As the blonde reached beside him, she nodded as if telling him, she's here now with a smile on her lovely face. Sasuke nodded, acknowledging her presence.

The wedding started as everyone watched the two exchanging vows and at last, ended it after exchanging the cup of sake with eachother. Everyone clapped at the  Newly wedded Couple. All people, close to both of them, were Standing there, watching them with happy eyes. Wishing them the best future they could think of...

Izumi took the girl away from Sasuke for the after marriage ceremony. While Sasuke just glared at his sister in law, knowing damn well she left Narumi on purpose. So, she could make him wait longer then he already did. While the brunette just smirked back at him.

"Here! Narumi... You're ready for the after marriage ceremony!" Izumi cheered as she finished getting the girl ready.

"The kimono... It's beautiful"

The blonde wasn't lying. The kimono was made from delicate fabrics with a floral print Along with some details done with gold. Giving off a royal presence.

"I know! It's specially made just for you... Okaa-sama, selected each thing herself just for her young daughter in law!"

"Kaa-sama? I should thank her for it, then"

"No, Naru. Accept it, and just tell her that you think the kimono is beautiful, she'll be so delighted after the ceremony"

"I'll do so, then...!" The blonde smiled as she stood up.

On the other side, Itachi and Shisui were somehow trying trying to control their laughter. The groom of the day, was annoyed the whole day as his bride wasn't here yet. The boy had waited for a whole year just for this moment, but those women took his love away, specially that sin of a sister in law. That woman exactly knew what, why and how this all was happening to him, it was intentional.

That day the young raven haired swore that he would never let the blonde be away from his eyes after this day. Even if it took isolating her from the world, he'll do it, if it meant keeping her to himself. This year had took a huge toll on his damaged heart. Those late night video calls were the ones which kept him alive. The fact that even if it was 4 in the morning, the blonde would still pick up his call and answer it with her smile. That smile was the reason he was still sane.

Itachi and Shisui weren't aware of who the young raven was, yet... Though Itachi did have a clue or too Along with his father.

After the long wait, finally Sasuke's bride was handed over to him. Everyone enjoyed, this after wedding ceremony only consisted was close people just like the wedding. Everyone gave their congratulations to the newly wedded couple. Some teared up, while some appreciated how beautiful the couple looked together. The blonde teared up when Tsunade came to gave them their blessings. Sasuke watched as the older blonde hugged the younger girl as she shed some tears of her own.

Izumi and Itachi personally gave Sasuke some warnings, Itachi taking the upper hand, while the blonde chuckled and Sasuke seemed to be unbothered, at last taking the blessings with open hands.

At the end, The wedding was over with laughter, Smiles, Some tears and blessings.
Mikoto was in deep thought as fugaku sat near her, The raven haired woman was happy for her son but her heart felt so blue knowing the blonde won't be with her in the house. Knowing that she won't heart to her stories... The year was really precious to Mikoto. Her heart had accepted the blonde as her own daughter. The happiness of having a daughter was given to her by her daughter in laws. Both of them were so lovely... Both of her sons had a great taste in women. She was happy for both of them but the emptiness in her heart and house was just too much.

Fugaku knew exactly what was happening to his wife at the moment. He knew her depression would go away as soon as she will hear about their upcoming vacation.

Narumi was in Sasuke's arms as he carresed her hair, Tears left the girl's face. She felt so happy to be near her darling once again. Sasuke knew she was desparate to be with him Just like he was but it was different from her. Sasuke didn't said anything as he let the blonde cry knowing she was holding in those tears fot an year.

After a while she finally stopped crying. Sasuke was laying on the bed while he had her in his arms with her head on his chest. He kissed her forehead.

"Looks like someone missed me, right?" The raven spoke gently as he kept carresing her golden hair affectionately.

The blonde found her comfort in his arms as he kept her close to him.

"Narumi, I have something to tell you..." Sasuke spoke just as gently but with a hint of seriousness. The blonde nodded in his arms.

"Tomorrow, We will have to say goodbye to everyone. The Uchiha's latest Branch in London needs to be looked after, and I was chosen for this job, you'll be with me all the time... Just like we wanted. So be ready for the goodbye tomorrow, Right after the party we have a flight for London."

"Hai, I'll be ready" Sasuke caught on the hint of sadness in her voice and asked,

"I know you'll miss mother and father along with Itachi and Izumi... But whatever happens I'll be there with you"

The girl looked up and nodded as she smiled, it was for the best anyway... He was with her, So what could possibly go wrong?
