This story takes place from 1996 onward.
Mattheo riddle is a fancast and not a real Harry Potter character therefore I'm changing a bit of his lore.
Canonically he would be one of the children of Bellatrix Lestrange and Voldemort, but Y/n and Mattheo are not related in this story (at all! Technically they would be cousins-in-law I think since Y/n isn't related to Bellatrix by blood but I wanted to just separate their family tree as much as possible.)
Instead of Bellatrix carrying Mattheo; in this story Voldemort had relations with a pure-blood wizard from Hogwarts after his graduation resulting in the pregnancy of Mattheo. With the first uprising of Voldemort, Mattheos mother died at the hands of the killing curse for trying to conceal him from his father hoping to protect Mattheo from Voldemorts evil. Mattheo was then raised by Death eater families (like the Knotts and the Malfoys) after the death of his mother during Voldemorts downfall.
Reminder: this story contains adult themes like smoking and alcohol as well as physical violence and SMUT. I won't be putting TW when these scenes happen as to not disturb the flow of the story or spoil the scene.
