This is going to contain some of my scraped story ideas, a couple drawings, and a handful of other things
Original Plot:
•The original plot of the story was actually going to be them meeting in college, getting to know each, and eventually fall in love, however I decided against it because I feel that's how most college AU's go and I wanted to change it up a bit
•Tess is actually one of my OC's who's a super sweet character and she's a lesbian. However I wanted to change it up a bit because she was originally supposed to be a villain, and I wanted to bring that manipulative side back for a little bit
•Emu and Nene were supposed to go to a different college, but i thought it'd be cooler if the four of them just stuck together, and it'd also make my life easier because I hate writing texting pieces
•I was gonna make this a SUPER angst filled story, but I got really sad at the thought of Tsukasa or Rui being upset and crying all the time, so I scraped the idea because I wouldn't be able to write it
•Emu and Nene weren't supposed to get married. I explained it a little in that chapter (17.5) that I just threw it in last minute, but I think that really was a good choice and it made me really happy to write it (both the proposal and wedding)
My personal thoughts:
Overall I thought the story was pretty good, considering it's one of my first (it's the first I've completed anyways) and it's definitely not bad. The only thing I wished I'd included was more Virtual Singer interactions, but I think it's fine. Also more interaction with Tess, that would've help the story out more, but I just got bored while writing her and just ended up not wanting to.
Sneaks:
• Despite not being mentioned much, I imagined that the Singers would always be checking in on everyone and they just wouldn't realize it
• Tsukasa hid his phone at the wedding so the Virtual Singers could still watch and not be seen
• There was definitely a wedding party in Sekai a couple days after the real one
Headcanons:
• After they started dating, Rui and Tsukasa went out on a date night at least once a week
• Nene and Meiko are so tired of how oblivious Rui and Tsukasa are around each other that they started having hangouts were they joke about it (and other stuff too, not just RuiKasa)
• Rui definitely has ADHD
• Tsukasa was probably diagnosed with Anxiety at a super young age and he hasn't been able to treat it properly because he hates talking about it
• After getting married and moving in together, Nene and Emu adopted two cats named Bacon and Eggs
• Rui almost always has his hair in a ponytail, and he started doing it because the first time he did Tsukasa called it cute, and then the gay panic took over
• Emu and Nene did a Melody and Kuromi cosplay
• Nene had a massive animal crossing and stardew valley phase, turns out Tsukasa did too and they really bonded over it
