Hearing Qin Yan's footsteps, Fu Changling closed his eyes out of dread.

He had made up his mind that if Qin Yan kicked him out, he would... he would just make his bed on the floor outside.

Fu Changling watched nervously as Qin Yan stood briefly and rested before walking forward again. Seeing Qin Yan stumble and slump forward, his body outpaced his brain, so he hastened over and grabbed Qin Yan by the waist.While being held up, Qin Yan slowly raised his gaze and stared at Fu Changling with his always clear, bright eyes. Fu Changling was a bit nervous as he held him. His heart was thumping so rapidly, and he was worried that Qin Yan might raise his hand and swat him off. But he kept his cool, swallowed, and said, "Shīxiōng..."

"It's you," Qin Yan said, recognising him precisely. What Qin Yan was thinking wasn't entirely clear to Fu Changling. Even though he appeared to have identified who he was, he was still a little nervous. Qin Yan looked at him in silence, as if he were making out something, and after a moment, he suddenly shoved him aside and walked forward on his own. When Fu Changling saw that he didn't do anything, his heart was mostly relieved. He hurriedly caught up with him and helped him over to the bed, saying while doing so, "Shīxiōng, where have you been? How did you get so drunk? Have you eaten anything before you started drinking? How much have you had to drink?"

Qin Yan didn't even answer him. Fu Changling helped him to the bed, where Qin Yan lay with his eyes closed and his brow furrowed.

By the expression on his face, Fu Changling could tell that he wasn't feeling well. He took off his shoes, tucked him in, and went to pour warm water and then carefully wipe his face, saying as he did so, "Have you thrown up yet after drinking? It's very uncomfortable if you haven't."

Saying that, he leaned in closer and sniffed the wine, recognised it, and couldn't help but smile. "You even dare to drink the 'Divine Drunkenness' with such reckless abandon? You're gutsy."

Qin Yan seemed to not want to pay any attention to him and flipped over to face the wall. Fu Changling couldn't help but smile when he witnessed such childish behaviour from him. He looked down and wiped his fingers, and for some reason, after realising that Qin Yan wouldn't listen to him right now no matter what he said, he grew bold and said gently, "Did you go for a drink by yourself? What are you drinking so much for? You must have gone alone too. After all, you always drink by yourself, and it's not healthy for you to do so. From now on, whenever you want to drink, just come find me, and I'll keep you company. This way, drinking won't be detrimental to your health."
