"He still hasn't answered?" Candy Cane asked.
"Nope," Peppermint said, shaking his head. "I've called him so many times, and Mint hasn't picked up any of them! I'm starting to get worried..."
"Hey, don't be!" Candy Cane reassured. "Try texting him. From what I know, Mint's relatively fast with his replies."
"All right..."
Hey Mint, why aren't you answering my calls?
About a minute or two, Mint replied: I can't find my phone
Typical Mint. Peppermint rolled his eyes. Oh alr, text me when you find it?
Mint's reply: ok.
"Did he say anything?" Candy Cane asked after being silent for so long. Peppermint thought they had left the room.
This made Peppermint jump a slight bit. "What the— What're doing glancing at my phone!" he exclaimed.
"Just curious," CC replied. "I answered your question, now you answer mine: Did he say anything?"
Peppermint chuckled. "He did. Told me he lost his phone."
Candy Cane stifled their laughter. "All right, then," they said. "I'm going out with the group; you'll be fine here?"
Peppermint nodded. "Yep, go touch some grass for once."
"Rude. Whatever, bye!" Candy Cane left, leaving Peppermint alone.
It took him about five minutes of thinking to realize the mistake he just made. Mint told him he lost his phone via text. How could Peppermint have been so blind?
He grabbed his phone, texting Mint once again: either you're very stupid or I am, it's still breaking me
Mint replied right after: ofc im stupid, it's me we're talking about. This got a laugh out of Peppermint. Mint sent another text: also i found my phone!!! it was in my hand so ig im just blind.
You absolute fool, Peppermint typed back. That's what broke me.
Whatever, whatever, Mint replied. Peppermint could hear Mint's playfully sarcastic tone in his head. Be glad i found it.
Mhm, whatever you say. Peppermint chuckled. You know, i don't really understand why ily sm.
Well you're stuck with me, and no take backs! >:p
