A/N: Hello Readers, So this chapter took me a bit longer beacuse I was losing ideas but thanks to one sneaky thought that creeped through, I was able to pick it back up.

CHAPTER THREE

I was crazy I kept telling myself as I drove home. It was an hour drive home so I got there at 5:15. I quickly got dressed for work so I knew I was going to be late. Brody had already left. I was never late but the voice in my head was unreal to me so thats what I was thinking about. I wore jean shorts that cut to a little above my thighs and a casual shirt that flared at the torso. I grabbed my black Converse Chuck Daniels and slipped into them. After grabbing everything I headed out the door and to my car.

The parking lot of the bar was crowded like always so I parked on the street and walked in with a few guys I've seen at the bar before. Brody was at the bar tending to customers as his eyes flashed over to me and he looked away as if I wasn't there. Great. He was mad. Gina waved at me from the other side of the bar here I usually tended. I caught site of Arty who also waved. I waved at the both of them. I walked over to Brody,

"Brody I-" He cut me off, "Your late!" he said and I scrunched my eyebrows together,

"I know. I'm sorry. Bu I really wanted to appologize for earlier." I still felt bad as I let my head hang because the words rung through my head again. He served a glass of beer to a vampire as he lifted my chin,

"I understand and I'm sorry too. Why don't we talk about it after work. Right now were going to get swamped." he said a smile forming on his face. I smiled back as I made my way down to where Gina was. She looked cute tonight, like always. Her hair was slick back into a puffy pony tail as her wife-beater shirt was tied at the belly with her flat abs showing and leather pants that were covered half way by some knee high boots, "Hey girl!" she said passing Arty another beer.

"Hi Gina. Hey Big Red." I said, happy Brody got him home safe yesterday. He nodded his head at me. Then Jared walked up to the bar, his hair spiked up and his slack leather pants hugged against his legs as his tight shirt made him look like his muscles couldn't breath,

"Hey Eryn." he said, winking at me. I said hi as I served a couple at the bar. Jared sat down, "Miss me yesterday?" He asked smiling.

"Yeah . . . So bad I didn't notice you here." I answered with a half smile. He gave me a playful glare,

"If your uncle wasn't around, we could have fun." he said and Brody walked down to the bar,

"Why Jared? You and I can have fun." he said winking at Jared in a playful way. Gina and I started to laugh as Jared gave us an evil stare,

"You two I swear . . . I'm going to hit the dance floor with those two witches over there." he said pointing at two women dancing on eachother. I said good luck as he walked away. It was only 6:30 and the bar was heavy. We were all busy Brody, Gina and I.

I finally got a break as Gina took over my end. She was fast at serving. I leaned against the shelf full of bottles of liquor as I looked over to the dance floor and catching Jared sandwhiched by the witches. I laughed,

"Something funny?" A male voice said as I looked in front of me and was now staring at the stranger from last night. The one Brody escorted into the bar. He was smiling, his pretty smile having me give him a small grin. His different color eyes focused on my face as I noticed he was now dressed for the occasion; A nice crisp white shirt showing his amazing muscles and his dark brown hair done in a half mohawk and half comb over. I walked over to the bar to him, "Nothing. Is there anything you need or have you been helped?" I asked.
