"Your weakness, mother dearest... is that you choose compassion and love over the more important things..." Patryd taunted me as he grasped my wrist in an iron grip, behind my back, pinning me to the wall, "Your kindness shall be your demise..."

"I'd rather love and be kind than to rule as a tyrant, Patryd..." I responded, "My son, it's not too late. You can come ba--agghhh!"

"Ah, ah, ah... mother dearest, don't try to preach at me about returning home..." Patryd chuckled darkly, as he twisted my wrist, "We all know that your Author never existed... and it's time you grew up from your fantasy of Him... like I have..."

I began to weep, as the lad I had adopted many years ago broke my arm, kneed my spine and threw me to the ground, "And as you lie there, grieving over your wasted life, I shall leave your pitiful form to die..."

As he said those words, I passed out and knew no more.
