"You're a natural!" Kurt smiled. I leaned my head on his shoulder as I set the guitar on the floor.
"Kurt..." I said.
"Yeah?"
"You're the first guy I've felt this way about."
He leaned down and kissed me on the forehead.
"I love you."
He's said it before, but right now it seemed so different.
"I love you too, Kurt."
"Ellie? You're good, but Courtney is 'the greatest fuck of all fucks.'"
I burst out laughing! I remember watching an interview where he had said that. For some reason, I didn't feel jealous. I was just grateful for him to love me, right here, right now. Optimism never felt so right.
