Dai Shiyuan was awakened by the sound of her alarm clock. She opened her eyes groggily, feeling a splitting headache.

She sat on her bed for more than ten minutes before fully waking up, then yawned and went to freshen up.

As for yesterday's memories, she only remembered that Shan Yaxin had handed her a glass of red wine. As a result, she got more and more drunk and couldn't even remember how she got back to her room.

Dai Shiyuan walked out of her room and saw someone sitting on the sofa.

The slender figure sat upright, as if blending into the sofa, emitting a sad aura that did not match the lingering Christmas atmosphere.

Dai Shiyuan was startled, feeling that something was not right. She walked over to the sofa and sat down, asking softly, "Sister Yaxin, what's wrong? Where is auntie?"

"They went back," Shan Yaxin replied hoarsely, staring ahead with a cold and emotionless face.

Dai Shiyuan felt no emotional fluctuation in her words, and suddenly felt afraid and worried.

This Shan Yaxin, with her cold and expressionless appearance, was unfamiliar and uncomfortable to her.

"Sister Yaxin, what happened? Tell me, maybe I can help you." Dai Shiyuan approached and softened her voice to console her.

After a long time, Shan Yaxin finally moved, turning her head to look at Dai Shiyuan with a hint of undissolved sorrow in her eyes.

Dai Shiyuan's heart trembled, feeling inexplicably uneasy.

"Xiaoyuan, I'm okay..." Shan Yaxin said with a faint smile, standing up and returning to her room.

The moment she stood up, her vision went black, and her body uncontrollably fell down.

"Be careful..." Dai Shiyuan was shocked, quickly reaching out to support her. She felt the spot she held onto was icy cold, and couldn't help but frown. "Sister Yaxin, why are your hands so cold?"

"I'm fine," Shan Yaxin replied weakly, but her body trembled, and her face gradually turned pale.

Dai Shiyuan watched anxiously and worriedly. She said firmly, "Let me help you back to your room. You shouldn't go to work today."

Shan Yaxin didn't reply, letting Dai Shiyuan support her.

The moment she lay on the bed, she shuddered again, curling up unconsciously.

Dai Shiyuan saw this and quickly pulled the blanket over her, touching Shan Yaxin's forehead with her hand and comparing her temperature, "Sister Yaxin, you have a bit of a fever."

"I'm fine," Shan Yaxin said with her eyes tightly closed, her body trembling slightly.

"You're sick and you still say you're fine..." Dai Shiyuan couldn't help but scold in a low voice, her tone both angry and urgent.

She quickly poured a cup of hot water from outside and put it on the bedside, saying, "Sister Yaxin, drink some water first."

Shan Yaxin opened her eyes, took a glance and closed them again, her face becoming even more pale.

Dai Shiyuan became even more worried and could only suppress her doubts for now and deal with them when Shan Yaxin was feeling better.

She went back to her room and took out a box of cold medicine, carefully read the instructions, and poured out two pills, coaxing softly, "Sister Yaxin, take some medicine."

"I don't want to..." Shan Yaxin wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, closed her eyes and refused.

This childish behavior was completely different from her usual gentle and calm elite appearance. Dai Shiyuan felt like laughing and getting angry at the same time, and finally could only continue to coax her softly, "Sister Yaxin, taking medicine will make you feel better faster. Be good, listen to me and take the medicine."
