After finishing a day of classes, Dai Shiyuan felt extremely exhausted and just wanted to go back and take a nap.

While packing her books, she couldn't help but yawn several times and looked very tired.

Seeing this, Zuo Jia asked with concern, "Shiyuan, did you not sleep well yesterday?"

Dai Shiyuan nodded and put her pen in her backpack, tears streaming down her face from all the yawning.

The relationship between her and the female lead seemed to have improved a little yesterday, and she had been looking forward to a brighter future all night.

But she got too excited and ended up staying up until almost five o'clock in the morning, which made her unable to sleep during the day and exhausted a lot of energy.

She was so tired now that she didn't even want to eat dinner, she just wanted to lie down on the bed and sleep well.

"A male classmate is having a birthday tonight and has invited everyone to celebrate. Are you going?" Zuo Jia asked happily as she packed up her books.

Dai Shiyuan shook her head weakly, restraining the urge to yawn again, and said in a tired voice, "I want to go back and sleep. I won't join in on the fun. You can go."

Seeing her looking so tired that she couldn't even keep her eyes open, Zuo Jia didn't force her and just packed up her things and left with the other classmates.

Dai Shiyuan walked slowly back alone, covering her mouth and yawning from time to time, wiping away tears from her eyes.

She stared blankly at the road ahead, her mind full of thoughts about whether the female lead would come back today and what time she would come back.

She could get the answer she wanted with just a phone call, but she didn't want to appear too intimate with the female lead to avoid any misunderstandings.

Even if their relationship had improved, it didn't mean she wanted to be friends with the female lead.

She still wanted to save her own life.

Dai Shiyuan was lost in thought when suddenly a shadow appeared in front of her, blocking her way, and she had to stop.

Looking up, she saw a boy who looked pretty good.

Dai Shiyuan thought for a moment and confirmed that she didn't know the person in front of her. She furrowed her brows slightly and asked coldly, "Classmate, is there something you need?"

"Do you...not recognize me, Dai classmate?" the boy asked nervously, his handsome face turning red.

"I don't recognize you," Dai Shiyuan replied firmly, her voice indifferent, and her slightly furrowed brows indicating that she didn't want to chat further.

The boy obviously realized this and his face turned even redder than before. He began to stutter, "We're classmates...in the same class...today's my birthday and I wanted to..."

At this point, his face had turned completely red and he was so nervous that he couldn't even finish his sentence.

Dai Shiyuan immediately understood who the boy was when she recalled what Zuo Jia had said earlier. Although there were many boys in their class, she only played with Zuo Jia and rarely spoke to others, let alone recognizing them.

"I understand. Happy birthday, but I have something else to do," Dai Shiyuan said without emotion, and then walked past the boy without looking back.

Although she had never been in a relationship before, she understood the implications of a boy inviting a girl to his birthday. However, she was not interested in romance and just wanted to survive and return to the real world without any complications.
