TW : MENTION OF BLOOD

"I see.." The detective not so far nor close from you muttered "Y/n, we have a new case" Ranpo stated making your attention go to his as you stopped typing on your keyboard

"Let's go then." You stood up from your chair as for Ranpo, well, he was eating before standing up.

"Where are we exactly heading?" You asked curiosity filling you up "Shishigaya
Shimin no mori" said by the detective

'Shishigaya Shimin no mori? That's a forest, right?'

"Here we are" Ranpo announced as he stopped walking breaking you out of your thoughts, in front of you, you saw this

"the police must be somewhere near here" ranpo then try to look around to find the police.

"So, what exactly happened?" Asked Ranpo, "a mother called us, begging us to find her daughter. The daughter went to go here to get some fresh air and a great view. The mother noticed that she didn't comes home so she decided to call us, she was last seen here." The police explained

"Ranpo!" You called out, ranpo making his attention on you fully, he soon then walked over your figure. "Look, have you seen this flower? Well, I swear, there's no flower that looked like this" you asked as you bend down reaching the flower and grabbing it "it was also shining brightly, that's what caught my attention" you tried to pull it, unfortunately, it won't "no flower shine this brightly" you added

Ranpo was silent as he looked deeply into your features "ranpo?" You asked breaking him out of his thoughts "it won't pull.." You tried to pull it again but this time hardly, suddenly a red crimson liquid started to show up

'Was the flower... Juicy.?'

"Wait y/n-! Don't touch that!" Ranpo announced late, before he even realized, a lot of red liquid came off Y/n's hand leaving her shocked

'Was there a spike.?'

Ranpo opened and widened his eyes due to the unexpected accident, it was odd, he was late, someone or something was stopping him to help Y/n

Was it perhaps, he was lost in Y/n's features? Maybe, maybe not.

'Don't touch the flower'

That was all the girl can think, the word that the girl gave her last night, she was warning her.

"Y/n! Are you okay?" Ranpo asked with concern on his voice as he tried to help the girl in front of his. "Mhm, I'm fine. We can just bandage this later" said by the girl "does the flower have a spik-" she stopped talking when she took a look on the flower. The flower was dead. The lifeless flower was covered in Y/n's crimson blood.

"Thats... Strange. Perhaps, it has ang chemical reaction on it?" you asked, nobody in particularly, "no.." the detective muttered looking deeply on the flower "no reaction can make that" he added offering you a hand to help you stand up as you accepted his offer

"Maybe.." you muttered as you take your handkerchief to Wipe off the blood, before you could even Wipe it, the detective stopped you.

"Huh?"

"Dont. Let's Go to a hospital so we can disinfect your wound" he gently drag you away from the scene and told the police they will be back once they cleaned up

"This could do" the nurse said after bandaging and disinfecting your wound

"Thank you" you bowed at the nurse for bandaging your wound

"Glad to help" she bid her goodbye to you as Ranpo stood beside you

"Something doesn't feel right" the detective muttered "why?" You asked feeling a little bit curious "I can't seem to understand the situation we are in." He stated "it's probably for eating too much candy, you know" you released some light chuckles as Ranpo turned to the side as he got embarrassed

'No Y/n, something or someone was stopping me.'

You and ranpo recently finished a case, you were going back to detective but Ranpo wanted to buy something before going back, he wanted to spend more time with you.

You were currently walking with ranpo, as for ranpo, he was finding a new shop to buy candies

'That's strange' you thought as you looked deeply into your hand 'it won't stop bleeding' you were a little bit dizzy due to the blood loss, the white bandage earlier soon turn to be bloody red 'at this point, I'll pass out any time.' You stated, you were gonna pass out anytime indeed "Ranpo, can we take a break?" You asked the detective with you as he looked to your figure "hmm, finee" he agreed, though, he was a bit sad he couldn't explore more candy shops. He hasn't noticed your bandage yet as you hid it from him "let's go over there" you pointed out a bench not so far away from you two using your unbandaged hand "alrighty!" He exclaimed as he dragged you over the bench

"That wound won't stop bleeding, right?" The detective beside you asked you, he caught you. "Seems like it" you nodded in agreement, Ranpo took your hand as he examined it "strange, normally this kind of wound wont bleed like that" he commented "let's change the bandage, shall we?" He opened his eyes to look into your orbs 'Pretty' he thought

He took out a bandage he got from God who knows, he soon then unwrapped your bandage soaked with your red crimson blood

'That's a lot of blood.' He thought as he gently wrapped the new bandage around your hand, you quietly winced in pain "ah sorry" the male detective In front of you apologized "it's fine, don't worry" you reassured him

after wrapping your hand Ranpo stood up "let's go back and get your wound treated" he announced offering a hand to you "huh? What about your candi-" you got cut off my Ranpo "Your health is more important, Y/n." He stated as you gave up protesting, you soon then took his hand accepting his offer.

" How did it go, nurse?" A mysterious man asked a girl dressed in a nurse outfit "it's going just as you planned, sir" the so called nursed smirked.
