An Open Door

Loving the sound of rain
Staring at a blank space of page
A little rhythm from a mellow song
I will try to write it down
Leaving a mark of memory to get old

In the kitchen where I sit and write alone
Calling the sun's presence from home
Within me even when I did not reach out
He stepped across the threshold

To my soul where I welcome his soul
Ineffable feeling of sadness
At the moment of hope
I just wish for it to vanish alone

That's when I seek the light
From an open door it shone
Solely beauty in my chaotics
The only amount of solid in my emptiness

As I see through the open door
From there is light and hope
A reminder of good tomorrow
A prompt away from tangled arrow

Words are carved from the bow
Hope is delivered to my lows
When I welcomed His soul, I uttered these words in low:
I am filled, I am loved, I am cherished

Through the open door,
Slowly, emptiness do evanesce

You will be filled, you will be loved, you will be cherished

You are
