Lizzies PoV Im currently in detention for trying to punch someone again.
"Lizzie I wanna talk with you, could you please step outside" Mr Hamil says as he gets up out of his seat and walks over to the door.
Great time to have another lecture.
"Lizzie look we let you off with a warning last time but that doesn't mean we always will, and I get it I know something is happening at home but you have to control yourself, you have to stop taking your anger out on other people" Mr hamil tells me
"She punched me first, i mean you know she did u was just making it even" I complain
" look I get that but she was doing to protect another student, also speaking of which that's the THIRD time you've tried to punch someone, Lizzie this is out of hand" Mr hamil said " we have got you a counsellor and your GOING to go, no debates"
" WHAT I DONT NEED COUNSELLING, THIS IS ABSURD" I shout as I walk back into the detention room.
I sit down and put my head in the table and I sit at like that for the rest of detention. When the bell finally rings the teacher tells me I'll be missing periods 4-5 to go to consoling which just happen to be art and art again (I have a double) the only subject I actually like. I go home and greet jimmy by pushing him onto the floor. I storm up to my room then scream and cry into my pillow. I was lying there when I got a text from... Joel?

What that was so weird. I mean dont get me wrong Im so excited to have an actual friend but. I bullied him I pushed him against a wall and took his money how does he see me as nice. I hope this isn't some sorta joke or anything. I mean it could be most the school teaming up on me and Joel would be the only person who would have my number bc he would be able to get it from jimmy.

Joel legit invited Lizzie to get pizza and they have a cute little moment then decide they want to be together
Option 2
Joel didn't actully text Lizzie and it was someone pretending to be him and it's the like the whole school or smth planning to make fun of Lizzie of pull some sorta prank on her then Lizzie doesn't like Joel when Joel try's to talk to her bc she thinks he was part of the prank then she figured out the truth and they get together
