When I woke up this morning I didn't remember I was in Spain it was until I looked out the window and saw the amazing view that was before me. I could hear the birds singing outside while the sun gently reflected off my glowing skin. This was just what I needed, vitamin D in the morning. Speaking of morning it's 8:30 AM I should head downstairs and see if my family is up.
When I got to the kitchen I saw my mom making us waffles. My favorite, waffles over pancakes any day. My dad was sitting on the couch reading something on him phone. My siblings were still asleep
- Buenos días! (good morning!)
-Buenos dias cariño. My parents said in unison (Good morning sweetheart)
-What are we doing today- I asked
-Well you can go shopping with your mother and sister and we can all meet up later at my new job, it's a surprise- he said as he winked at my mom
-You fathers right you might want to get some cute clothes because im sure you won't want to show up there looking bad- said my mom
-You guys are freaking me out, am I meeting someone important? Is it the president?
-Of course not honey but in your book im sure you would classify him as 5 stars- my dad tells me
-Okay, I'll go get Laura and David so we can eat breakfast and then begin the day, I can't wait!
•1 hour later•
-Im ready mom lets go
-Esperate Kaila que ya voy. Snapped my mom (Wait a second Kaila im on my way)
-Ok fine. LAURAAAA HURRRY
-Im coming, gosh- replied Laura
Once we got into the rental car I blasted the air. Its so hot in Spain, and for what? My dad stayed at home with David to practice some futbol, when we get back from the stores we'll pick them up and go to my dad's new job. I'm excited and I wonder who I'm going to meet.
•2 hours later•
We're back from shopping and I didn't get too many clothes because I don't think I'm going to be going out all the time since I'm doing online school. It'll be different but right now I have nothing to worry about. I also got a special outfit for today, I need to look good for whoever I'm meeting.
We picked up my dad and brother, my mom and dad switched places so he could drive.
-Ok you guys we're almost there so let me explain what it is I'm doing. You guys ready?- my dad asked us
-Yess dad out with it
-Alright so about three months ago I got a offer I could not reject, I'm the new head coach for the Spanish National Futbol Team that's going to the World Cup.
-Deadass?
-Language. And yeah I'm so serious
-Wait does that mean I'm getting to meet Gavi and Pedri and Ansu and Balde?
-Yes it does, in fact you'll get to meet all the players, I've already met them through FaceTime.- My father explained
-No fair. She gets to meet Gavi but I can't meet Neymar?!- Laura said
-Laura who knows you might get to meet him in Qatar- dad said
