Poe's Cup|Kent

Y/n's pov:

My best friend, Enid Sinclair is all crazy about Poe's cup happening next week.

But the only thing I could think of was a handsome Siren from Bianca's friend group.

He seemed so nice, my heart started beating everytime he looked at me.

And nothing changed when i saw him at the Poe cup.

"You two look purr-fect!"

Enid complimented us when Wednesday and I walked out of the tent in out cat costumes.

"I live for this, Enid! "

I hugged her.

Everyone got on their boats and the atmosphere of the race tensed.

The fanfares played when Miss Weems had her speech.

"Let the Poe cup begin!"

She yelled, shooting a bullet into the sky.

Everyone started paddling towards the island.

The race went nicely, well–until something, or somebody started pushing us towards the boyka.

Atleast I think it was boyka?

I wasn't really sure since I have never seen something like that before. But it was big and red so let's assume it.

"Girls, what is happening?"

I yelped, looking around the boat.

We were getting closer and closer to the boyka.

"Yep, we are going to crash"

One of the two other girls said.

Was it too late to tell them that I can't swim?

Our boat broke in half and we fell into the water like a pile of rocks.

Enid's pov:

"I hate this thing!"

I groaned, putting my cat ears back on my head.

I looked at Wednesday, that was red from anger.

"Who even broke our boat?"

"I bet it was Kent"

"Kent?"

Wednesday got back to her scenses.

"One of Bianca's friends"

But in that moment, I noticed something.

"Wait, where's Y/n?"

Y/n's pov:

"Hey, are you okay?"

I heard a voice from a distance.

But it slowly got closer.

"Huh?"

I mumbled, holding my head.

"You almost drowned out there"

I opened my eyes to see a boy in front of me.

After few moments of blinking, i rocognized him.

"Kent?"

My eyes widened.

"How did I got here?"

I looked around me to see trees and the lake.

"I saw that you were drowning, Y/n. None of your friends helped you. So I had to"

He explained.

"Wait–Enid, didn't helped me?"

I was confused. I thought we were best friends.

Well i guess not anymore.

"I need to find her"

I tried to get up, but Kent stopped me.

"You have to rest"

He put his hand on my cheek.

"Have I ever mentioned how beautiful you are?"

He looked into my eyes.

"You did right now"

I whispered as our lips got closer and closer until they kissed.

After few moments the kiss got deeper and Kent started getting needy.

I sat into his lap.

His shirt was already unbuttoned and his hair was wet.

Suddenly, I felt a few drops of rain fall on my head.

I looked up to see it started raining.

"I think we should continue inside"

Kent suggested.

"Then what are we waiting for?"
