Y/N's pov:

My childhood was wild, when I was little, I used to live in a smaller town in Vermont.

Until my dad mysteriouly 'died', well, i'm not sure if he actually did, but let's just assumed he did.

Mom says that he was a bad person, that he killed a lots of people. And that he deserved to die.

I don't really remember him, or anything from my childhood. The memories are blurry.

But now I am here, with my mom on our way for a new life. Jericho will surely be great.

~~~
We were supposed to move into an apartment above some coffee shop in the town.
"Sweetie, please come help me with these boxes"
My mom yelped, holding two of them already.
I quickly ran up to her and grabbed one of the two boxes she was holding.
When I was about to enter the coffee shop, I almost bumped into someone that was walking out.
"Oh, jesus!"
He backed up.
I could tell that he was a boy, because of his voice.
I put down the box to make sure he was okay.
"Damn–Sorry for that"
I apologised, scanning the boy from head to toe.
"My bad, I should start looking around myself when I walk."
He smiled, scratching the back of his neck.
There was a silence between the two of us, before he spoke up again.
"Do you need help with those?"
He asked while I was picking up the box.
"Don't worry, I don't need a man to lift up a box"
~~~

When I entered our new apartment, my mom was already opening the window that faced the town's park.

"Who was that boy you talked to?"

She smirked.

"Just some self centered dummy"

I snapped and turned to walk out of the apartment to get more boxes.

But right when I stepped insidethe hallway.

The boy appeared infront me.

"Self centred dummy huh?"

He seemed to take it to heart.

"What are you doing here, self centred dummy?"

I crossed my hands on my chest.

"I just wanted to give you this, it fell out of your pocket"

He snapped, throwing a bracelet on me.

What a warm welcome.

~~~
The next day, I woke up to the feeling of sun shining into my face.
What a great day to explore the city.
I got dressed and grabbed my bag. When I walked out of my room, I discovered that my mom wa still asleep. She was probably tired from the trip.
I slipped on my shoes and got out of the door.
When I walked down the stairs, a strong smell of coffee hit my nose.
I need a coffee.
So instead of walking straight out, I made my way to the counter.
"One f/c, please"
I leaned onto the counter.
"So self centered dummy cna make you coffee, huh?"
The boy raised his eyebrow.
"Stop being so cheeky"
I rolled my eyes.
"And why should I?"
"Because I am a paying customer"
"Yeah, make her the drink Tyler. I'll pay"
A tall boy showed up behind me, he threw a couple of dollars onto counter.
"No thanks, I don't need your gifts, and in fact, I'm not even thirsty anymore"
I said and walked out of the shop.
~~~

Few months passed and Jericho finally started to feel like home.

Even throught I still had beef with the guy from the coffee shop, I made few friends.

Some of them are from Nevermore, which is...very interesting school.

But one day, my mom told me that she had to travel out of the town because of work stuff.

I didn't really mind being alone, so a weekend by myself sounded pretty relaxing.

So here I am, eating popcorn on the couch while watching -fav tv show-

But from all that popcorn, i started to get a little thirsty.

So i grabbed an empty glass from the cabinet and turned on the sink.

Only for it to spray into my face.

"What the hell?!"

I yelped.

When I tried to turn it off, it didn't work.

In panic, I rushed downstairs into the now closed coffee shop.

Luckily, the guy was still there.

"I need help"

I said.

He put his hands on his hips and raised his eyebrows.

"With what?"

"My sink broke and nobody's home"

I explained.

"And why should I help you?"

"Please, i'll pay"

I begged.

"Fine"

He sighed and the two of us ran up the stairs.

~~~
"Alright, it's done"
He stated after few minutes of work.
I was sitting on the counter, watching him.
"Thanks"
"What about my payment?"
He walked a bit closer to me.
I noticed that his shirt was all wet.
"Ops, I guess my mom forgot to give me any money"
I smirked.
"I think that there's an other way you could pay"
A/N:Yall got robbed☺️
