You and Leo were about to leave the lair.

Leo had moved in with you around 2 years ago, finally being able to escape the sewers and live a normal life. Well, as normal as being a mutant turtle would allow.

Your roommate situation was completely platonic. You weren't in a relationship with Leo, even though you wanted to be. You just didn't know if he felt the same.

"Did you get everything?" you ask. The two of you were headed back to your apartment from weekly movie night. You guys decided to bring your own blankets and pillows from now on, since Mikey steals almost all of them. "I got it, don't worry."

It was late at night, so you decided a walk home would be nicer than Leo using his portal to get home. It was a few minutes of silence until he randomly spoke up.

"Honestly, the movie was trash," he says bluntly.

You gasp dramatically, "Take that back! It was an awesome movie."

"It's a total knockoff of the show! None of the details are right!" He argued.

Tonight was Raph's pick. He chose the movie Deathnote. Which to you, Leo, and also Donnie, was offensive. The three of you binge watched the anime series that this movie was based off of last summer. Leo and Donnie thought the movie was an absolute waste of time and resources.

Raph never watched anime a day in his life, but he saw this movie and thought it was cool. Mikey, however, got scared shitless and will probably have nightmares for weeks.

"Sure, the movie changed a lot of details and left a lot out, but it still had Light Yagami and Ryuk," you said.

"Yeah, but it didn't have any of the other shinigami in it though!" Leo fought relentlessly.

You sigh, "It's a movie, Leo! Some things have to change!"

"Not that much!" You look at Leo and see he's actually quite aggravated.

"You're actually upset... What's wrong?" you ask, a hint of concern in your voice.

Leo stops waking and turns to look into your eyes. He hesitates for a moment. "Donnie flirted with you all night. And you let him,"

"He wasn't flirting?" you furrowed your brows, confused.

"I know my brother, y/n, and so do you. How can you say that wasn't flirting?" he argues.

"You're right, I know Donnie, just like I know he wasn't flirting. He was just really excited to show me his new lab setup," you said.

"But he held your hand, y/n," Leo stops walking and stares blankly into your eyes.

"He does that all the time Leo, you know that! Why are you so concerned about it, anyway?" you ask.

Leo felt a hint of panic wash over his body. He wanted to tell you. He knew you felt the same way about him, he could see that. The nervousness he felt confused him. He never felt nervous around you, but the thought of confessing to you took a toll on his nerves.

"Leo?" your voice turns to concern. He just stared at you, not saying anything.

"I.. uh.. y/n..." he took a deep breath, and continued, "the reason I have a problem with it is because I want to be the one to hold your hand. I want to be the only one who can flirt with you," he said softly, his heart panging in his chest.

You were stunned. You felt your face heat up. You didn't expect him to be so straightforward, and you definitely didn't expect him to confess. You bit your bottom lip, thinking about how to respond.

"Leo... I feel the same way," you said quietly. Leo looked at you and smiled. You could tell he felt a lot of relief.

Without thinking, Leo placed his hand in the crook of your neck, and the other wrapped around your waist. He gave a long, soft kiss to your lips.

Your face was on fire at this point. Your heart was beating so fast, you could hear it in your ears. But of course, you kissed him back. You slinked your arms around his neck to pull him closer.

He pulls away, gazing into your eyes. "Let's get home, now. Whatdya say?" He smiles, unsheathing his sword from his back. You smile as well, and gladly nod your head.

He slashed his sword in the air and the big blue portal appeared.

"Wait," he grabbed your hand and pulled you back from the portal, "does this mean we're a couple now, or..?"

"Of course it does, dummy," you smile wider, and place a sweet kiss on his chin.

You heard him faintly say 'yes!' to which you assume was followed by a downward thrust of his arm.
