Fear

It sends a shiver down yours spine

And chills the blood inside.

A goosebumps trailing, tailing vine,

Gives you time to hide.

The monster comes into the room,

And soon you catch your breath.

You watch him roaming, groaning, BOOM,

A book has signed your death.

His dark eyes harden on you now.

You voice a silent prayer.

With an almost strained bow,

You're becoming braver.

The door busts in.

The light shines through.

The monster's gone.

Your fear is too.

So when you face your greatest fear,

You're not alone,

Don't shed a tear.

Remember love is never gone,

It rests within our sullen hearts

That tremble at the sight of darts,

It pierces the muscle, flesh and bone

Yet, still, in this ordeal you are not alone.
