Chapter 7

"Hey, brat" Kunikida called the nervous boy.
The boy snapped out of his daydreaming and
turn his head to the blonde.

"It's not that I lack sympathy for your unlucky,
ill-begotten life. As such, i'll give you one hint
for surviving in this city" he pulled out
something inside his notebook and showed it to
Atsushi. In the picture, he can see a man near
his age wearing a long black coat. The man
inside the picture also have a black hair and
white tip.

"Don't run into him, if you do, run" Kunikida
advise.

Atsushi hold the picture and stared into it, "Who is he?"

"A mafia" Dazai interrupted their conversation,
a headphone already on his shoulder.

"We call them that because we don't know
anything else" You said, also joining the
conversation.

"They are vicious criminal organization who
claims the port as their territory" Kunikida
spoke and lifted his gaze to Atsushi, "They are
called the Port Mafia"

"They are the most dangerous bunch in the
underground world of this city. Of them, the
one in this photo is a very dangerous man
beyond even this agency's reach." He continued.

"Why is he dangerous?" Atsushi asked again.

"Because he is gifted.. His ability happens to be
one of the ruthless sort specialized for slaughter.." The blonde reply, "Not even the
military police stand a chance against him, i
wouldn't want to fight him either"

Atsushi gulped the lump inside his throat.

Praying to himself to not encounter him in the
future, "What's his name?"

"It's Akutagawa"

In the agency, on couch, Y/n sat at the end of
it while Dazai resting his head on their lap.

"Yeah~ You cant do a double-suicide alone~"
Dazai sang, his headphones then get pulled off by someone.

"Hey, Y/n, dazai, what about the job?" The
blonde asked them, annoyed.

"We are waiting for a sign from above" Dazai
spoke, smiling at him.

"Huh?"

You just sigh and go back to watching people getting hurt on your phone (idk what year it is)

"With two, you can Double-suicide, double-
suicide" He continued to sing, after sneakily
snatching his headphones back from
kunikida's hands. Kunikida looks at his hands,
shocked that he didn't even realize that its
gone without him noticing.

"We are here, this way" A feminine voice from
the headphones can be heard. Dazai stopped singing and focused on it.

"It is kind of creepy" Atsushi spoke.

"That's strange, is this really the right place?"
Tanizaki spoke this time.

"I apologize, i led you into a trap.." The girl said,
pulling something from her bag

"My target was you!" She said then a gun firing follow after.

"Time to go now, Y/n-chan" He said.

"I guess you're right" you reply, Dazai lifted his
head from your lap. Dazai takes off the
headphones from his head and placing it on
top of the table in front of them.

"Huh? Where are you two going, you idiots? Don't think about going to attempt something stupid while this is time for work!" Kunikida warned, not that making the other two detectives scared or something.
