Elizabeth watched with wide eyes as Jasper threw Emmett across the clearing. "Again!" Emmett growled as Edward and Bella pulled up in the jeep. They got out and walked towards the rest of the Cullen family. Emmett grabbed onto Rosalie and Elizabeth as they all turned to face the wolves as they walked out of the trees. They all growled. "They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward said. "They came. That's what matters." Carlisle said. "Will you translate?" He asked.

Embry walked over to where Elizabeth, Rosalie, and Emmett stood and stood protectively in front of them. Carlisle approached the rest of the wolves. "Welcome." He started off. "Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them." Edward read their minds. "They want to know how the newborns differ from us." He said. "They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues." Carlisle explained. Embry looked up at Elizabeth. "Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." The rest of the wolves turned to look at Elizabeth.

Carlisle nodded at Jasper and he stepped forward. "Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn doesn't need thousands like a human army, but no human army could stand against them. Now, the two most important things to remember are, first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that, and you will lose." Jasper turned back to the Cullens. "Emmett." He called out. Emmett let go of his mates and stepped in front of Jasper.

"Don't hold back." Jasper teased. "Not in my nature." Emmett responded before running at Jasper. Emmett tackled Jasper but Jasper stood his ground, planting his feet firmly into the ground and sliding back. Emmett grabbed Jasper and flipped him in the air, sending Jasper tumbling to the ground. Jasper got back up and ran towards Emmett. Emmett went to attack Jasper but he moved out of the way and threw Emmett to the ground. "Never lose focus." Jasper said. Edward and Carlisle were the next to go. They nodded before running at each other. Edward jumped over Carlisle as he slid on the ground.

They ran at each other before grabbing at each other's necks. Jasper circled them. Edward and Carlisle swung at each other before Edward threw Carlisle to the ground, holding him by the neck. He stood up. Jasper walked towards him. "One more thing." Carlisle got up and tackled Edward to the ground. "Never turn your back on the enemy." Jasper said. He gestured Elizabeth forward. "Who? Me? Oh, alright." She joked. Jasper turned to the wolves. "You might want to watch out for this one." He teased. Elizabeth swore she could see a bit of a smile on Sam's snout.

Jasper gestured Elizabeth forward again. She slowly walked towards him and then they attacked each other at the same time. Jasper grabbed her shoulder and flipped her in the arm. Elizabeth landed on her hands on the ground. She quickly stood up and did the same to Jasper, flipping him over onto his back. She placed a foot onto his chest as she smirked. She let Jasper get up as she turned to Edward. "Come on, Eddy." She said. Edward playfully rolled his eyes and walked forward. He ran at her but Elizabeth sped out of the way. She grabbed his arm and twisted it, flipping him onto the ground. Edward landed with a groan.

"I could get used to this." Elizabeth teased, holding her hand out to help Edward get up. He grabbed it and flipped her down next to him. Elizabeth landed with a thud. Her and Edward turned to look at each other before bursting into a fit of laughter. They stood up and let Jasper and Alice take their place. The two mates smiled at each other before Jasper went to attack. Alice moved out of the way. Jasper ran at her but she did a cartwheel, maneuvering around him. Jasper walked forwards and they attacked each other again. Alice ended up in Jasper's arms.

He smirked and went to lean in for a kiss but Alice dodged it. Jasper looked around as Alice disappeared. She jumped down from the trees and landed on Jasper's back. She leaned in and kissed him quickly before hopping down. After that, they were done for the day. Embry walked back over to Elizabeth and nudged her hand with his nose. Elizabeth smiled and scratched behind his ears. Embry's head dropped. Elizabeth removed her hand and Embry looked over to Emmett and Rosalie. He bowed his head at them before disappearing back into the trees.

Elizabeth wrung her hands as she waited in the Cullen house. She had something she wanted to ask Emmett and Rosalie. The two soon entered the living room. "Hey, why aren't you at home?" Rosalie asked. She leaned in and kissed Elizabeth. Elizabeth moaned, tasting the blood on her tongue. "Because I'm really stressed out and I wanted to talk to someone." Elizabeth said, referencing Edward before Bella got there. "Honey, are you okay?" Emmett asked. Elizabeth nodded. She walked into the kitchen. Emmett and Rosalie followed her. 

She grabbed the papers from the counter and slid them across the island towards her mates. "What's this?" Emmett asked, picking up the papers. They both read through them and Rosalie's jaw dropped. Her eyes brimmed with venom tears that would never fall. "You want us to adopt Landon?" She asked. Elizabeth nodded. "He thinks the world of you two. You're his parents just as much as I am. I want it to be official." She explained. Emmett scooped her up into a hug. Rosalie joined them. "Thank you. So much." The taller blonde vampire said and kissed her mate's cheek.

Elizabeth smiled shyly before looking up at them. "That's not the only reason I'm here." She admitted. Their eyebrows furrowed and they stared at their mate with confused faces. Elizabeth smirked before leaning up and kissing Emmett. "Help me make my sister jealous." She said. Rosalie smirked. She picked Elizabeth up and sped them upstairs to her and Emmett's old bedroom. She placed Elizabeth on the bed and passionately kissed her. She pulled away too soon for Elizabeth's liking and the newborn vampire whined.

She tried to lean in again but Rosalie stopped her. She stood up and the foot of the bed. "Look at her, Emmett. I don't think I've ever seen her this needy." Rosalie teased. Elizabeth's face turned red. "Begging for it." Emmett agreed before he walked over to the bed. He grabbed Elizabeth's chin with his large hand and turned her face towards him. "Be as loud as you want, baby." He said before roughly slamming his lips onto hers.
