chapter 7

Kie's POV:

JJ got into a fight for me yesterday with Carl. I've never had a guy do something like that for me before. I also told him about Rafe. He told me his secret, so I told him mine.

He had told me that when he was younger, when it snowed in OBX he made an igloo and that was his safe place from his father.

So I was taking him to finland to stay in a fancy igloo hotel. It was expensive and impossible to get into. There was a cancellation for one night so I took it. For the first night, we were in some cheap and junky hotel, second night was the igloo, and the third big was some random hotel.

I told JJ we were going to Finland and he was excited but he didn't understand the surprise. I also texted Ashley and she was going to meet up with us on the third day and hang out before she flew back home to California.

JJ and I did some touristy things are first night there and then the next day, I told him to pack up our stuff and that now was time for the surprise. We took a bus and a train to our final destination.

"Holy shit!" JJ said when we arrived

"Surprise! Your own real life igloo for tonight. They are impossible to get into but there was a last minute cancellation" I said

We checked in and got the key to our igloo. It was super small inside with only one queen bed but neither of us seemed to care too much.

We spent the whole day at the resort doing snow/outdoor activities and we came inside, showered, and ate dinner.

We were playing a card game when we noticed the northern lights. Wow, they were so beautiful!
