It's date night!!!!

*

The drive to the restaurant hadn't been too bad, she'd got them there alive. Elisia was impressed by Aaron's lack of terror and ability to stay calm at her truly awful driving, she was pretty sure he'd bitten his tongue at one point when she stalled three times in a row. But they were here now, and safe.

The restaurant was beautiful, pale blue walls and dark oak tables. It was small inside, quaint, nothing overly fancy, just as Aaron described. Elisia could imagine that she'd be getting the real deal in Italian cooking here and she was curious to know he'd come across this place.

They were shown to a table in a quiet corner of the restaurant at Aaron's request. He pulled out her chair for her causing Elisia to blush. She hadn't been on many dates and nobody had ever done that for her, Aaron was old school and she found that she liked it.

They didn't need a wine list, Aaron ordered a bottle by name for them to share. Elisia hesitated before putting her glass to her lips but Aaron assured her that she'd not have to drive home. The wine was nice, fresh but fruity and slightly sweet, Elsisa was impressed in his choice and wondered if he'd usually order something as sweet or if he was ordering to suit her taste.

Menus were passed over to the pair and Elisia spent time studying it, there was only around 15 dishes in total, but all sounded amazing and Elisia was struggling to choose.

"So I'm thinking we should aim to do the full three courses" Aaron said looking up from his own menu. They discussed their options, Aaron decisive as ever, had chosen his food within a minute of being passed the menu and didn't change his mind.

"I'm terrible at choosing" Elisia laughed making light of the fact she'd changed her mind for the third time "I'll have such food envy if someone else looks like they've got a better meal than I have"

In the end she opted with a Caprese salad to start, while Aaron chose a scallop dish. The food was amazing. Aaron ever the gentleman, kept her wine topped up generously, while swapping to club soda after his first glass, he was driving after all.

Conversation flowed easily between the pair, before tonight Elisia had worried that all the pair would have to talk about was Jack, but that wasn't the case at all.

The more Elisia heard from Aaron the more she felt herself falling for him, despite her better judgement.

When conversation turned towards Jack's mom, Elisia felt her eyes growing wet and reaching across the table to take Aaron's hand. It was clear how much he loved her. She'd not known the full story before, while she'd known Jack's mom had died, she hadn't realised she'd been murdered while Jack was in the house.

The conversation had turned to happier subjects when the main course arrived. Elisia's lobster risotto was the best she'd ever had, while Aaron chose a rare steak. Elisia was more of a well done girl herself but stole a few of Aaron's fries.

Conversation changed to school and work, Elisia spoke about her love of literature, she had no idea what she wanted to do when she finished college but it would be related to writing.
Things turned interesting when they discussed Aaron's work, explaining how profiling worked left Elisia in disbelief.

"You see it becomes second nature after a while, you start to profile everyone" He explained.

"So have you been profiling me Aaron?" She asked interested in what he might haven learnt about her.

"Well not purposefully."

She didn't believe him for a minute.

"And..."
