It was about 2 weeks before spring break. Before her and her dad were gonna make the trip out to meet with Joyce woman and her son William. El was excited for her dad. He needed more happiness in his life.
It had been a few weeks since her and Mike started texting eachother. It was harmless fun. A lot of back and forth questions trying to get to know eachother. He was the only thing that made Mike smile lately. She knew it was stupid. A boy who knows how far away. And he probably only replied cause he was bored.
