2- Charity Auction

(Third Person POV)

"Oh! I got another one for the case"
Kate mentions as she takes a medal out of her pocket.
Y/N stares at her in adoration.

"You're amazing, Katie"

"I still remember when she got her black belt at 15"
Eleanore tells her daughters girlfriend.

"Isn't that when you guys got together?"
She asks with curiosity.

"Actually, it was the tournament after, that was when Kate kissed me"
Y/N recalls.

"And the winner of the tournament is..... Katherine Bishop!"
The announcer yells into the crowd. He holds up Kate's arm and hands her the trophy. When Kate walks out of the arena she runs towards Y/N.

"Katie! You did amazi-" she's cut off when Kate slams her lips against hers.
Y/N closes her eyes as their lips move in sync.
She runs her arms up and down Kate's back until settling them around her neck.
Kate's hand rest against Y/N's waist.
They pull away slowly, both of their eyes still closed until they slowly open them.

"Would you, um, maybe want to, you know, be my girlfriend?"
Kate asks nervously.
Y/N gives her lips another peck.

"I would love to, I've been waiting so long for you to ask me that"

"Baby? Are you okay?"
Y/N is snapped out of her daze by Kate shaking her shoulder.

"Yeah, I was just thinking"
Y/N smiles at her girlfriend.

"So, mom, what's with all the swords?"
Eleanor looks hesitant to answer.

"Well, honey, there have been some changes since you guys were away this semester"
Jack walks into the room.

"Jack!"
Kate says in a surprised tone.

"Oh! What an unexpected surprise"

"All surprises are unexpected"
Kate tells the man, obviously.

"Kate, remember what I said"
Y/N whispers in her ear.
Kate squeezes her hand in reply.
Jack takes a flower out of his mouth and tries to hand it to Y/N, until he is stopped.

"That was in your mouth"
Kate says, disgusted as she pulls Y/N closer to her.

"So it was"
Jack chuckles.

"You guys need to go change and meet us at the hotel and we'll talk there"
Eleanor tells the girl as jack puts her coat over her.
When they leave the house, Kate spins around to face Y/N and leaves little kisses on her neck.

"What's wrong? Katie, are you ok?"
Kate just hums as she pulls her girlfriend to her old bedroom.

"What took you so long?"
Eleanor asks the girls as they get to the charity auction.

"Uh, we lost track of time"
Kate replies to her mother.

"Hmm, well get ready for the auction"
Her mother walks away, allowing the girls to walk off to the side, next to a table.

Y/N wraps her arms around her girlfriend as she leans into her, resting her head on her chest. Kate wraps her arms around Y/N's back, pulling her closer.
