Chapter 9

Jisoo regains her consciousness. She sees her father on one side and Lisa on the other. She smiles finding 2 of her favorite people by her side.
"You're finally awake!" Lisa exclaims.
"Your brother went to rehab for you." Her dad said.
"He did?" Jisoo cannot believe her ears.
Her father nods.
"The police is going to come later today to ask you to describe the people you saw. I was so worried about you." Her father hugs Jisoo tightly.
"I'm going to visit your brother? Stay safe, okay?" Her father says before kissing Jisoo's forehead.
"I missed-" Lisa says before getting interrupted.
Jisoo kisses Lisa on the lips. 
"Ahem."  A person in a police uniform said.
"I am officer Kim. Do any of you remember what the intruders looked like?" The officer asked.
Lisa and Jisoo both nod.
"One of them looked very young. He looks like 20-ish years old. He had laid back hair." Lisa said.
Another officer showed them a sketch.

"This look familiar?" Officer Kim asked. 
"Exactly like this." Lisa said.
"Are there any others?" 
"One looked very old, 60 ish years old. Short hair, grey and white hair." Jisoo remembers.

"Yes." Jisoo agrees.

"And this?" 
Lisa nods in agreement.
"Do you guys have any other questions, if not. We will be going." Officer Kim said in a stern voice.
"How many students survived?" Jisoo asked in a small voice.
"Pardon?" 
"How many students survived?" 
"26." Officer Kim replies before walking away.
"Where's Chaeng and Jennie?" Jisoo asked.
"They're in another room." Lisa replies. "Do you want to visit them?"
Jisoo nods.
Jisoo limps to their room with Lisa.      
"We got candy!" Chaeyoung beams.
"Here." Jennie gives Jisoo a piece of bubblegum.
"We're gonna see who can blow the biggest bubble." Jennie announces.
"Bets?" Lisa asks.
"I bet my lollipop and gummy bears, it is going to be me." Chaeyoung says.
"I bet my jawbreakers and twix bar it is going to be Jisoo." Jennie grins.
Lisa gives Jisoo a stick of gum.
"I'll bet on the stick of gum it will be Jennie then." Jisoo chuckles.
"I bet on my oreos and candy cane, I'm going to win." Lisa says in confidence.
"3...2...1, Go!" One of the students in the same room judges.
Chaeyoung is last place, Jisoo is second to last, Lisa is second place, Jennie blew the biggest bubble. Jisoo gladly claims all the sweets.
"Damn, I should've chose myself." Jennie jokes.
