Seperation

I woke up at 4am the next morning, I had to wait another 4 hours for school.
Since there was nothing to do I put on my headphones, listened to 'Come As You Are' by Nirvana and played video games. I didnt enjoy it like I usually did though, I just needed something to fulfill my time. Like everything that happens in life, it just doesn't matter. All it does is fulfill your time. There is no point in anything. I slowly put my controller down about 2 hours later and went to eat breakfast, I made pancakes and slowly gulped them down. It reminded me of Nozomi making me breakfast one morning, and how we talked the night before. That made my blood boil, even thinking about them annoyed me to my core, they pissed me off enough.

On my way to school I didn't see anyone heading in the same direction as me, it seemed too warm for a morning aswell.
I walked into class to see the teacher halfway through the lesson, I looked at the filthy, old clock on the wall: 10:37.
How did I manage to leave 2 and a half hours later than planned? I must've changed the clock on my phone by accident.
"Why are you so late?" My teacher looked at me with a stern expression, I could explain that I set my clock too early, or I could make up an excuse, which I did.
"I felt ill for a while, but I'm fine now."
That was a pretty believable excuse.
"Ok then, go and sit down."
The teacher then went back to the lesson.

During class I started questioning myself, what happened on the roof yesterday was deserved. How dare she have the nerve to hit Honoka, especially after she confessed to me and quit being an idol, she was going through a lot and Umi, being the self-centered idiot she is, made it worse.
But wasn't it my fault this happened in the first place? If I wasn't so useless I could've prevented it. All of it. That made me break down during class, I slammed my head on the table and cried, what was happening to me? I didn't enjoy anything anymore, and all I did was feel unhappy now.

------After Class------

I didn't go up to the roof. Instead I went over to the benches outside on my own, I didn't want to see them. Not today, not tomorrow, not the day after that. Never.
I walked home when I finished my lunch. I didn't care, I don't need to do anything right now. I suddenly got a text, it was from Nozomi.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Nozomi - Hey, you weren't on the roof at lunch today.

I told you to never talk to me again. - Me

Nozomi - What happened yesterday wasn't your fault.

Go away. I said don't talk to me. - Me

--------------------------------------------------------------

I blocked her number after that and went to sleep.

------The Next Day------

It was a Saturday, finally I could have some time on my own, maybe I could ask Honoka if she wanted to go somewhere, maybe I would end up accepting her confession after all.
I decided to call her.
She picked up.
"Honoka-Chan, wanna go somewhere today?"
"Are you asking me on a date?!"
"What? No! I just thought you'd want to do something after what happened when, well you know."
"Ok, sure, let's meet at the mall in around an hour ok?"
"Sounds good, see you then, bye."
"Cya!"
I was not going to leave no less than 15 minutes after the time she said, she would definitely be late.

When I got to the entrance, I saw Honoka arriving too, I knew she would be late.
She was wearing a blue shirt with a black dress, it looked good on her, I had to admit. She looked around to find me, a second later she came running over waving her hand above her head as she did.
"(Y/N)-Kun, Hi! So where do you wanna go first?"
"Well, uh, hmm, I'm not sure."
Honoka looked at the map, saw something she liked and pointed at it. The arcade, I wouldn't mind going there.
She then grabbed my hand without hesitation and sprinted straight for it, dragging me with her.
She ended up running into someone and tripped over, pulling me down and making me land directly on my face. I finally managed to pull myself up, then helped her up too. Honoka grabbed my hand again and started running again too. We finally made it to the arcade, and guess what, it was closed. For some reason it wasn't open, no reason why. It was a Saturday, so there was no reason to close it. I sighed and sat down on a bench. Honoka sat next to me and we started talking, a while later we got approached by, you guessed it, μ's. Or what what was left of them I guess.
They walked into the mall not too long ago, but I didn't expect them to come over here, damn this is gonna be awkward.
"(Y/N)-Kun! How about we go do something over there instead, that's a good idea right?" Honoka was clearly trying to avoid them, just as I was. We walked to the food court on the opposite side of the mall, and whilst we were there we decided to grab something to eat.
