Eddie and I were sat on top of my roof, we just left a party and we're pretty drunk and we sat there sharing a blunt.
Lately he's been non stop talking about Chrissy and idk why but i'm a little jealous
He passed me the blunt "So she called me last night to bitch to me because she was upset over something that i said" he says
"That's because she doesn't get your humour like i do" I say rolling my eyes
"Eddie you two are totally opposites" I say
"We listen to the kinda music she doesn't like it, and she'll never get your story like i do"
"Y/N what're you trying to say" He says paying more attention to me
"Eddie i'm saying, she wears short skirts, i wear t-shirts, she's cheer captain and i'm on the bleachers" I say and he looked at me confused
"I'm dreaming about the day when you wake up and find that what your looking for has been here the whole time"
"I think you're drunk Y/N" Eddie says sitting up
"Walk in the streets with you in your worn out jeans, i can't help but thinking this is how it ought to be, laughing on our park bench" i say poking at his holey jeans
"Y/N..." Eddie says quietly
"No Eddie listen"
"You've got a smile that could light up this whole town, haven't seen it in a while since she brought you down" I say grabbing his hand
"Eddie i might be very drunk and high but i have to say this or else i won't ever say it"
"You say you're fine but i know you better than that"
"She wears high heels, i wear sneakers. She's cheer captain and i'm on the bleachers"
"If you could see that i'm the one who understands you, been here all along. So why can't you see.... you belong with me" I say and he looks at me surprised
"Remember you driving to my house in the middle of the night, i'm the one who makes you laugh when you know your bout to cry."

"You're right" He says
"Wait what" i say
"We may just be super drunk Y/N, But i agree. I belong with you" He says smiling
"You belong with me?" I say and he nods
"I'm not sure how i didn't see it Y/N i'm sorry, I was too caught up in Chrissy" he says
"I never wanted to ruin our friendship" I say
"And i'm over hearing you bitch about her" I say laughing and he gives my arm a little push laughing
"You're my type. you were right under my nose and i never realized it" he says poking my nose
"We'll glad we're on the same page" I say and he quickly kisses me
