"A pyromancer?"

Alaric asked someone for their phone on the side of the road to call Dorian since the woman took him and he need to know more about her kind.

"A pyromancer?" Dorian asked

"A woman who smelled like she'd been dipped in an ashtray and breathed fire instead of words. What else could she be?" Alaric asked

"There are only a couple dozen left, most are in East Asia," Dorian said walking into the library.

"Well, now there's one wandering around the woods off Route 29," Alaric said

"All right, I'm on it. I'll call you back when I figure out how you can restrain her without getting barbecued." Dorian said

"She stole my phone. I'll have to get back to you. How are the girls doing?" Alaric asked

"Oh, they're-they're killed it," Dorian said chuckling

"By not kill it," Dorian said

"Great," Alaric said

"I will be in touch," Alaric said to Dorian and hung up the phone.

"Thank you so much. You're a lifesaver." Alaric told the woman whose phone he borrowed as Meadow ran up to him.

"Great you're alive let's go," Meadow said and started to walk back into the woods as Alaric followed.

"I thought I told you to stick together," Alaric said

"When have I ever really listened to you where's the girl," Meadow said

"I lost her." Alaric

"Let me guess she took your phone and then tried to kill you," Meadow said

"So you know what that girl is out there," Alaric said

"Yeah I do at first I thought maybe she was a survivor but then Landon said something that made me feel other why's which also made me think about what she had on I mean it's not of the ages at all..." Meadow said getting cut off by Alaric.

"Wait back up Landon told you something," Alaric said

"Yes yes did you say don't engage yes did we, yes but we need to talk more about the problem at hand," Meadow said

"We will talk about that later but your right we need to focus on the problem at hand I think she's a pyromancer," Alaric said

"I know she is a Dragon no doubt about it I mean they're super rare but they exist but I get why you'd think she would be a pyromaniac," Meadow said

"How do you know she's a dragon?" Alaric asked

"Landon was hiding in a root caller and when we went to get him I saw a ton of shiny and expansive things which made me think maybe this is where a thief keeps their loot but no it's where the dragon keeps her treasure," Meadow said

"You know we can't really be sure the stolen stuff was hers and it's not like theirs much knowledge of Dragons or that they even exist," Alaric said

"Okay sure keep believing she is a pyromancer fine with me," Meadow said

"Where's Hope, Landon, and Rafael?" Alaric asked

"I told them to stay in the root cellar and I also told you I should have come with you," Meadow said

"Do you know how to stop her if she is a dragon?" Alaric asked

"You just keep saying if but..." Meadow said before getting cut off by Alaric.
