—-OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOL—-
Meadow and Hope walked outside to get in the car while waiting on Alaric to find Rafael under the car adjusting the sway bar which is a part of the car.
"Hello?" Hope asked only seeing half of Rafael's body as tools clattered from under the car.
"Hey," Rafael said still under the car.
"Hey what are you doing?" Meadow asked
"Adjusting the sway bar," Rafael said
"Was it broken?" Hope asked
"It is now. You're going after Landon. If you want this car to work, I'm going with you." Rafael said as he got up from under the car.
"Or I can go under that car right now and fix it myself," Meadow said wrapping her hair up in a ponytail.
"And you should stay out of it. He's a liar and a thief." Hope said to Rafael talking about Landon.
"He took a stupid knife," Rafael said
"Nothing in this school is a stupid anything," Hope said
"You will learn that pretty quickly living here," Meadow said
"Look. He's my best friend. And you? You seem vengeful." Rafael told Hope
"And she's my best friend and if you call her vengeful again I'll get very vengeful with you," Meadow said
"Fix the car," Hope told Rafael
"Okay look let me show you something. Close your eyes." Meadow said and showed him what happened on the bus on route 29.
"What the hell was that?" Rafael asked
"Your best friend did that to a bus full of people on Route 29 last night, and we're the only ones who know how to find him, so give her the engine thingy," Hope said
"Yeah just give me the ranch," Meadow said
"No," Rafael said
"I have actual magic powers. And I have a long history of anger issues." Hope said
"He can come," Alaric said
"What?" Hope and Meadow both asked at the same time.
"He knows Landon; he'll be an asset. And we need all the help we can get, so fix the car and hop in. And put a shirt on." Alaric said and got into the car.
—-Shortly After—-
"Dad loves Hope and Meadow more than us," Lizzie said
"You're being melodramatic, okay? He's missing one game." Josie said
"First a game and then our weddings. This game is an opportunity. We can show him how seriously we are taking this by making sure that our secret stays protected out there on the field. Today, we will lose even more epically than we normally do." Lizzie said
"Win by losing. That's the spirit." Josie said
"There's someone we need to recruit to our Island of Misfit Toys. Tall, hot, and handsome." Lizzie said
"Rafael?" Josie asked
"I am totally thinking tight end," Lizzie said
"I just saw him. Yeah, sorry, Raf's not gonna be at the game. He hopped the Hope and Meadow train out of town. Just like your dad." Penelope said
—-Meanwhile—-
"I don't know why he's still out here. He has a whole day's lead on us." Hope said as they started to walk through the woods looking for Landon.
