I lost my home after the flood
I was ice cold that's why I'm so white
But he built a home within his words
And kept me warm and safe every night.
When I fell into the hole of love I thought was right
I was dry and weak as the wilted roses they gave me
But he was waiting like a lost soul
To spark me like a twinflame
It was meant to be.
All the stars in my hand had their light vanished
But he carved the moon on my heart
So I glowed like millions of stars merged into one
And there was I; a new masterpiece; an art.
The flower I am isn't as pure
I had my thorns and poison that could kill
But he was brave and he held onto me tight
He didn't cut my thorns or scour my poison
Rather, he made them beauteous.
So I was never ice,
He saw me as the sea
And I was never falling,
He knew I was pushed
I was never a star,
He looked at me like I'm the universe
And I was never the flower
In his eyes, I was a garden of Heaven.
