It was currently 11:00 P.M and I just had one of the hugest arguments with my boyfriend Nick...
Now, it wasn't that serious! I just... it's just... ugh what am I doing...
I got into my car and sat there with my head in my hands, now most people would say "real men don't cry" but fuck them... I'm crying, that doesn't make me unmanly. So suck my dick if it does.
I had a huge headache, and tears where just slowly falling down my face.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! What did I do?!" I yelled
I heard my phone ringing so I picked it up and it was Nick.
No... now is not the time... please... don't... answer...
I answered.
It was silent for a little until I spoke up.
"Yeah?" I asked into the phone.
"I'm sorry..." he said I could here just from the sound of his voice that he was slightly crying.
"No, no, no... it- it was my fault... I should've just... left it..."
"No. It wasn't your fault... just please come inside." He said
I hurt him... I fucking hurt him...
"Uhm... no I... uhm I should get going." I said as my voice broke.
I choked back tears as the only thing could be heard was silence... the world was practically dead...
"..." and he hung up.
I placed my phone down and started the car.
I was about to drive off till I heard a faint nocking on the window from the passenger side.
It was a bit dark the only thing that was light based where the street lights and the light coming from the car radio screen.
I rolled the window down to see Nick.
"Yeah?"
"Please come inside" he said, now I could really see that he was crying...
"I- I- no Nick... I don't think it's safe to go back inside with you, we just got into an argument" I said quietly as possible
"Please"
"DONT LEAVE" he said through sobs.
And that's what held me back from going.
Just two simple words...
I hopped out the car not bothering to close the door nor take my keys out the ignition. I just got out the car and walked up to Nick pulling him into a tight hug.
"I'm really sorry Nick... I didn't mean to do it" I said while sobbing.
"And I'm sorry for yelling"
"You always yell" I said after letting out a soft chuckle.
"Your not wrong" he said back with a small smile.
"Just... DON'T LEAVE" he said looking at me
I grabbed his hands and looked him in the eyes.
"I promise I won't"
"Promise?"
"Promise" I said pulling him into another hug.
"You should probably lock your car.
"And ruin this moment? Not a chance" I said back to him.
He just chuckled at me and we stayed like that...
In each others embrace... letting it last... with a promise to keep... looks like I got lucky...
