I walked into the meeting room as usual, the rain was slightly pattering on the window and all the squadron were sat down, i caught a glimpse of Goose eyes as they glided from the top of my face to my lips, I let out a subtle laugh but made sure it was inaudible
"lieutenant your five minutes late." Viper stared at me Blankly
"Sorry I lost track of time" I said walking to sit down next to goose and Maverick
"What did I miss?" I whispered
"Nothing, except all shit things Viper drags on about" We all laughed,
"Okay thanks mav."
Halfway through the meeting Iceman stuck his hand up
"Yes Tom?" Viper glanced at iceman
"I did a 4g negative pushover in the air three days ago, you didn't notice" Iceman declared
"Don't do it guys" goose whispered
"Cus you fucking didn't Tom" Maverick said looking at me
"Yeah we were in the air and all you could achieve was to desert your post"
The whole room laughed
"Settle down, I have nothing else to talk about so all of you are dismissed."
The next couple of days were non stop missions, I thought it would be best to invite Charlie, Maverick, Amy, Goose and Bradley to the beach for the day. I sat on the sand next to Goose waiting for Maverick,
"Hey sweetie come here" I said to Bradley rubbing sunscreen on his arms
"Mommy? Can I go to the sea"
"Of course!" goose said, Bradley ran off and I looked at Goose
"Just us now"
He held my face and kissed me
"I love you"
"I love you to."
