Her lovely mother known as Lt. Stella Lewis "River".... she passed away, for three years... she battled cancer, it was incredibly rough and now even more rough now both of her parents are gone. She lost her father when she was younger, around the time that Nick Bradshaw "Goose" lost his life.
She is close with his son Bradley Bradshaw, they have been incredibly busy since graduation and haven't had a chance to see each other but they talk every now and then... it's been a year and a half since they graduated.

The house has felt more empty then usually. She was sitting at the table and was thinking about everything. She has been called back to TopGun, She is really excited for it and to see everyone, but her mother was on her mind like she has been.
The front door opened and She saw Penny. "Hello Sweetheart." She said to her. "Hi ya Penny." she said looking up at her. She sighed knowing that she had a lot on her mind. She sat down in front of her then looked at her. "I know how difficult your life has been since your mother's death three months ago but you and I know, she would want you do what you love." She said. She was right. she looked up at her, "I am heading to the bar, where everyone is meeting up, I see you there sweetheart." She said as she left. She had sighed and walked to my room.
She came back dressed and looked into the mirror made sure she looked okay. She smiled softly. "I'll keep soaring for you momma, you as well Dad.... I got this because I am Serenity Lewis... "Tails" The daughter of Lt. Stella and Howard Lewis." Serenity said.
