3rd person POV

10 years later...

Water rushed up and down the banks of the beach. Sand was squished in between the toes of Katniss' 4 year old daughters toes. Her blond hair fell in front of her tiny face and blocked her beautiful, cyan eyes. Her tiny hands pushed away the fly-away strands of hair behind her pale ears. The lake reflected off her light pink finger nails as her hands swayed back and forth. All was calm in the remains of district 12, until Katniss' called her daughter back to the house.

Katniss, Prim and Peeta sat nervously at the dinner table. The lively young girl raced through the door and stopped in her tracks as soon as she realized the stare that her mother was giving her. Her hands shot over her ears as a loud siren sound filled the air. Tears filled Katniss' eyes as the siren came to and end.

"Welcome all!!!" He said. The crowed was still silent.

"Today, I will be sharing some very important news with you. As all of you know, The Hunger Games ended after a certain someone," there was a pause," ended the games after the quarter quel. Now, there will be a new games. A games for children ages 4-10. There will only one tribute for each district. Let's start with the tribute from district 12..." There was another pause as he pulled a name out of a giant fish bowl...

"Rose Mellark!"

And that was when time froze...
